I'm planning a trip down to the Casino Carter area next month and I'm a little worried about logistics. I've heard mixed reviews about parking, especially on weekends when things get busy. Is there a dedicated lot for non-guests, or do I need to use the paid garage? Also, does the parking situation change much if I'm only visiting the restaurant part and not the main gaming floor? Any tips on getting there and where to leave the car would be greatly appreciated before I make my plans.

I recommend getting there early, especially if you are going on a Friday or Saturday night. The dedicated non-guest lot is usually fine, but it fills up fast. If you are just going to the restaurant, try parking on the side streets a few blocks away and walking in. It saves you the headache of the main lot pricing and congestion.

Use the main garage.

Weekends are tough. The paid garage is definitely the safest bet if you want guaranteed space, but it is pricey. If you are only hitting the restaurant, check out the parking structure across the street. It's often less busy and sometimes cheaper.

My experience was that the non-guest lot is adequate for daytime visits, but you must arrive before 11 AM to avoid major circling traffic. If you are visiting the restaurant, the lot closest to the entrance is fine, but be prepared for a little walk. Seriously, plan for extra time getting parked.

If you are only eating, definitely look for street parking. It's much easier and you won't feel pressured to park right by the main entrance.

I agree with the street parking idea. If you go on a Saturday, aim for the lot near the secondary entrance. It seems to handle overflow better than the main front lot. Also, try to avoid peak dinner hours (6-8 PM) if you can.

Park at the hotel across the street.

If you are driving from the north, take the service road that loops around the back of the property. It feeds into a lot that is much less visible and therefore less congested than the main drop-off area. This is a huge time saver. Also, remember that the lot capacity is surprisingly small for the number of people who visit. I would budget an extra 30 minutes just for parking and walking.

Just use the public lot. It's fine.

The secondary entrance lot is perfect. I was worried about the main garage, but the lot near the restaurant entrance was much easier to navigate and had plenty of space even on a busy Saturday. Thanks for the detailed advice!

To summarize, if you are only eating, the side street parking is your best bet. If you plan to gamble, the main garage is reliable but expensive. If you want a balance of cost and convenience, aim for the secondary entrance lot early in the day. It seems to be the least stressful option based on everyone's input.
