I was driving past the Site One area last week and noticed a lot of activity. It seems like a huge project, and I'm curious if anyone has more information about the timeline for completion. I heard rumors that the main residential phase might be delayed due to supply chain issues. Has anyone actually visited the site recently to gauge the current status? I'm trying to figure out if it will impact local traffic or if it's going to be a major draw for the area once finished. Any local knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

I drove by last month. It looks massive, definitely a huge undertaking.

I heard from a contractor friend that the residential phase is indeed facing delays. They mentioned supply chain issues with specialized materials, possibly pushing completion back by at least six months. It's frustrating for the local economy, but they are still working on the infrastructure groundwork, which is impressive to see.

It's going to be a major draw. Myrtle Beach needs this growth. The commercial aspect alone will revitalize the area.

The traffic will be bad for years. Expect constant construction detours until at least 2026.

I think the rumors are exaggerated. They are making steady progress on the utility connections, which is the hardest part. The timeline is aggressive, but they seem committed to meeting it.

Short term chaos, long term gain.

I saw some heavy machinery last week. It was definitely moving fast. It's more than just residential; the mixed-use concept is what makes it exciting for the area.

Is the commercial space going to attract unique businesses, or just more chain stores?

They are planning for a mix of local boutiques and national anchors. It's supposed to be a curated experience, not just another strip mall. That's the key selling point.

I'm really hoping the delays are minimal. I plan to move closer to the area once it's established. The potential value increase is huge.

The local government needs to manage the traffic flow better. They can't just build this without a comprehensive road plan update for the whole district.

I've been tracking the permits. They are moving through the environmental review process smoothly. I don't think the supply chain issues are going to derail the whole thing.

Honestly, I'm just curious about the parking situation. Will there be enough parking for the expected influx of people?
