We just got back from a trip to Vegas and decided to stay at Westgate. Overall, we had a decent time, but I wanted to share some feedback about the resort itself. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool area was really nice for relaxing during the day. However, the casino floor felt a bit dated compared to some of the newer mega-resorts. We found the shuttle service to some of the major attractions convenient, but the dining options were a bit limited, especially for a group of people who wanted variety. If you are looking for a more budget-friendly stay with good amenities, Westgate is great, but don't expect a five-star luxury experience.

Totally agree about the value. If you aren't chasing the ultra-luxury vibe, Westgate hits all the right notes for a solid, fun trip.

The dining limitation is real. We were surprised how few options were truly varied. We ended up eating at the same place three nights in. Maybe plan to eat off-site more often.

I thought the casino was fine! It had a classic Vegas feel, which is what I was looking for. It wasn't shiny and new, but it was clean and functional. Don't let the 'dated' comment discourage you.

How was the parking situation? Was it easy to navigate when we arrived, or was it a nightmare finding spots?

I found the pool area fantastic for a group. It was spacious enough that we didn't feel overcrowded, which is a huge plus compared to some of the massive resort pools.

I disagree that it's limited. We found a great little ethnic spot tucked away that was fantastic. You just have to venture a little further than the main strip restaurants.

We stayed for a week and the shuttle service was genuinely a lifesaver. It made getting to the convention center and a few other spots so much less stressful than trying to navigate taxis all day.

Honestly, the rooms were great value. For the price point, getting clean, comfortable accommodations with a nice pool area is a win. Don't expect five stars, but you get five stars worth of fun for your money.

definitely agree with the dining variety point. We spent half our time Googling where to eat next. It felt like a bit of a culinary desert.

For a group trip, the budget aspect is key. Westgate lets you spend more on activities and less on the hotel bill, which is a huge win in Vegas.

Did anyone else find the Westgate staff to be really helpful? We had a small issue with the AC unit, and they fixed it immediately and professionally.

It's a solid mid-tier Vegas experience. You get the amenities without the massive price tag. Just remember to plan your dining excursions outside the immediate resort area for better options.

I think the location is actually perfect for what you described. It's close enough to the action but far enough away that it feels like a relaxing base camp. Worth it for the peace and the price.

If you're looking for a high-end, immersive resort feel, you'll need to spend more. But if your goal is a comfortable place to sleep and a nice pool to relax in, Westgate is perfect. Just manage expectations regarding the casino decor.
