Does anyone know where I can find a 'Lego Casino' set or building guide?

I've been looking into building a massive, elaborate casino diorama using LEGO bricks, and I can't seem to find an official set or a comprehensive MOC (My Own Creation) guide for it. I'm hoping to replicate the look of a grand Vegas-style casino, including slot machines, poker tables, and maybe even a roller coaster element. I've checked the official LEGO store and the BrickLink marketplace, but nothing seems to fit the scale I'm imagining. If anyone has experience with large-scale architectural builds or knows of specific parts packs that are good for detailing gambling equipment, please let me know. Any tips on sourcing parts or finding inspiration would be greatly appreciated!

You might have better luck looking at dedicated architectural LEGO MOC groups on Flickr or Reddit. Search terms like 'large scale diorama' or 'casino build' might yield some inspiration or even parts lists.

Check out the LEGO Ideas platform. While there isn't a finished casino set, sometimes community submissions for large themed areas are posted there, and they might have linked parts suggestions.

Honestly, for that scale, you'll be looking at a pure MOC. Focus on modular building techniques. Start with the floor plan and build up the structural elements first.

I found a few great parts packs for detailing slot machines on BrickLink. Search for 'gaming equipment' or 'detailed interior' and filter by color. It's a massive undertaking!

Have you considered using LEGO Technic elements for the roller coaster? They provide the necessary structural integrity and mechanical look for movement.

If you want the Vegas feel, focus on the lighting elements. Lots of translucent bricks and specialized light bricks really sell the atmosphere. It's all in the details.

I actually built a small casino corner once. I used a mix of retired and modern parts. The key was finding detailed tile sets for the flooring and playing surfaces.

A guide is unlikely to exist, but there are YouTube channels dedicated to large-scale LEGO builds. Searching for 'LEGO mega build' might give you some structural tips.

Where did you check for parts? Sometimes specialized sellers on BrickLink have bulk lots of generic decorative pieces that can be used for railings and trim.

I agree with the modular approach. Don't try to build it all at once. Break it down into zones: the lobby, the gaming floor, and the exterior facade. Tackle them sequentially.

For the poker tables, don't just use standard bricks. Look for curved slopes and specialized tile pieces to give them that polished, expensive look.

The scale is the hardest part. If you make it too big, the structural integrity becomes a nightmare. Maybe consider a diorama that is 'cross-section' style, showing the inside workings.

I used a lot of gold and silver colored bricks for the trim and signage. It really elevates the perceived luxury level of the build. It makes it look 'grand.'

I think the roller coaster element is ambitious. Maybe scale it down to a model that looks like it's *on* the casino, rather than requiring full structural support within the diorama itself.

If you are looking for inspiration, try looking at real-world casino blueprints or architectural renderings. Then, translate those shapes into LEGO brick measurements.

What kind of scale are you imagining? Are we talking a shoebox diorama, or something room-sized? Knowing the scale helps narrow down the parts needed.

The detailing on the slot machines is key. Use small printed tiles and minifigure accessories to suggest buttons, screens, and jackpot indicators. It adds a lot of realism.

I found a great resource for generic parts lists from a few years ago. It was a massive spreadsheet detailing common parts used in large themed builds. I can try to track it down if you give me more details on your build style.

Be prepared for a massive parts budget. These kinds of projects can easily cost thousands of dollars in specialized bricks and tiles. Budgeting is half the battle.

I recommend starting with a simple, enclosed room first, like the main lobby. Get the flow and the scale right before tackling the complex machinery like the slot machines.
