I just got back from a long weekend trip and stayed at Harrah's. Overall, the location is absolutely perfect; you can walk everywhere and it's right in the heart of the action. My room was clean and comfortable, but I did notice that some of the decor feels a bit dated compared to the newer resorts. The buffet was surprisingly good value, though. If you're looking for a classic Vegas experience without breaking the bank, I think it's a solid choice. Has anyone stayed recently and noticed any major changes or improvements?

I agree about the location. Nothing beats walking everywhere in Vegas.

The buffet was decent, but I found the drink prices to be highway robbery. It really adds up quickly if you aren't careful with your spending.

I actually stayed last month, and they did renovate the main lobby area. It feels much fresher than I expected, definitely worth checking out if you're budget conscious.

Is_reply: true. I noticed the decor, too. It felt a bit worn. Do you think the room quality is maintaining the overall feel, or is the whole place just aging gracefully?

I'm debating staying there vs. a newer property. My main concern is the pool scene. Is it still lively, or has it lost its sparkle compared to the newer resorts?

I think the 'classic Vegas' vibe is exactly what some people want. It's less overwhelming than the super modern places. Just be prepared for the minor maintenance issues, though.

is_reply: true. You mentioned the buffet was good value. Was that the all-you-care-to-eat breakfast, or the main dinner buffet? I heard the dinner options were quite limited lately.

The casino floor itself is huge, which is a plus. It gives you plenty of space to roam and try out different gaming areas without feeling cramped.

I'm glad you had a good trip! I'm planning a visit next month. If you're open to it, maybe you could share any tips on parking or getting around the Strip from there? Thanks in advance!
