I'm planning a trip to Party Casino in New Jersey next month, and I've been reading mixed reviews regarding security. Specifically, I'm worried about the handling of personal items and cash, especially during busy hours. Has anyone here been recently and can they share their experience regarding the vigilance of the staff? I'm mainly looking for advice on whether I should use a safe deposit box or if the general area feels secure enough to leave my wallet in my hotel room. Any firsthand accounts on the security measures would be greatly appreciated.

I always carry minimal cash. It's just smarter.

I was there last month. The staff were professional, but you need to be vigilant yourself. Keep your wallet secured in a front pocket, not a back pocket. I recommend keeping large amounts of cash locked up at the hotel, not in the casino safe deposit box, as those can be costly and inconvenient.

Use the hotel safe. It's the best bet.

I agree with the hotel safe advice. The casino's internal security is good for theft, but for general personal belongings, the hotel's dedicated safe is more reliable and less hassle than dealing with a bank deposit box.

It's a big casino. Just treat it like any crowded tourist spot. Don't let your guard down.

My experience was mixed. The staff were friendly, but I noticed a few instances where people seemed to be distracted, making them targets. I suggest using a cross-body bag that zips shut, and never leave your phone unattended on a table.

Seriously, use a money belt. It's the only way I feel safe when I'm gambling for long stretches.

Are you worried about pickpockets specifically? Because during peak hours, it's always a risk in any crowded place, casino or otherwise. Keep your valuables secured and out of sight.

I recommend a combination approach. Keep IDs and emergency cash at the hotel. Bring only the necessary amount of cash for the day's play and keep it on your person. It minimizes risk dramatically.

Don't trust the general area. Always keep your purse or bag in your lap or secured to your chair leg. Never put it on the floor.

I found the staff quite attentive when I was there. They were constantly patrolling, and it made me feel much more secure. I wouldn't worry too much.

The casino's security team is highly visible, which is a good sign. They are trained to handle incidents, but that doesn't mean you should be careless yourself. Stay aware of your surroundings.

I used a safe deposit box and it was fine, but it was overkill. Just keep a small amount of cash and your debit card separate from your main wallet. Diversification is key.

Just be smart. Don't flash cash or expensive jewelry. That's the biggest mistake people make.

I think the hotel room is safest for large sums of money. The casino is designed for spending, not for secure storage of personal wealth. Stick to the hotel safe.

The biggest tip? Don't carry your driver's license and all your credit cards together. If you lose one item, you don't want to lose everything.

I'm going to bring a small backpack and keep it zipped up and in front of me at all times. Better safe than sorry.

If you're worried, just spend less. Less cash means less to worry about losing. It's a psychological trick that works.

I've heard good things about their cash handling procedures. They are very systematic. But remember, they can only help if you are proactive about your own security.
