I finally made it to Monte Gordo last weekend, mainly because of the casino, and I wanted to share my honest thoughts with everyone. The atmosphere was lively, especially in the evenings, and the selection of games was quite good. However, I found the overall experience a little disjointed; the casino itself felt separate from the main resort area. If you're planning to go, I'd recommend checking out the local restaurants nearby for dinner, as those were much more authentic than the ones right next to the entrance. Overall, it was a decent day out, but maybe not the magic I expected.

Reply to the previous post: I agree about the dining. Skip the resort restaurants and walk a few blocks away. The local seafood spots are unbeatable. I had paella that tasted like it came from a real family kitchen, not a tourist trap. Definitely prioritize local food over convenience.
