I spent a long weekend at the MGM and wanted to share my feedback, especially regarding the recent renovations. The main casino floor felt really updated, and the overall ambiance was great. However, I found the buffet to be quite overwhelming and a bit overpriced for what it offered. I was hoping for more variety in the dessert section, as that's usually my favorite part. Has anyone else noticed the wait times for the high-limit gaming areas lately? I'm curious if the service has declined since the last big overhaul. Overall, a solid stay, but a few tweaks could make it perfect.

The renovations really did make a difference. Everything felt fresh and modern.

Totally agree about the buffet. It's massive, but the sheer number of stations makes it hard to navigate. And yes, the dessert selection is seriously lacking. I wish they had more specialized pastry vendors.

Wait times are definitely up. I waited nearly 45 minutes just to get a table in the high-limit lounge. It feels like staffing hasn't kept pace with the new capacity.

I thought the buffet was great! I found the carving station amazing and the international selections were top-notch. Maybe you just went during a slow period?

Has anyone else noticed the parking fees increased dramatically? It's adding up quickly and feels like another hidden cost they've implemented since the last overhaul. I'm starting to feel nickel-and-dimed.

Replying to the buffet comment: I think the issue isn't the variety, but the quality control. Some dishes were lukewarm, and the plating was sloppy. It's a huge buffet, but 'huge' shouldn't mean 'sloppy.'

The new wing's lighting is perfect. It gives the whole place a sophisticated, upscale vibe. I'd recommend checking out the new lounge area on the 3rd floor.

I noticed the service decline too. It's not just high-limit; even the general floor staff seemed rushed and uninterested. Maybe they need more training after all the changes.

Desserts! You are speaking my language. They need a dedicated dessert bar with artisanal options, not just the standard cake slices. That would elevate the whole meal.

I found the ambiance fantastic, but I disagree on the buffet. For the price, the variety was acceptable, and the quality was surprisingly high. Maybe you focused too much on the dessert section?

Overall, I'd rate it 8/10. Solid improvements, but the buffet needs a serious rethink. Maybe a tiered pricing system would help manage expectations.
