We spent a week at the Divi Flamingo Beach Resort in Bonaire and honestly, it was incredible. The location is absolutely perfect, right on the water with easy access to the reefs. The service really made the trip special; the staff were attentive without being intrusive. We spent most of our time snorkeling and relaxing on the beach, and the resort amenities supported all of that. If you are planning a luxury trip to Bonaire, I highly recommend checking out their packages. It definitely exceeded our expectations for a Caribbean getaway.

Wow, this sounds amazing. We are seriously considering Bonaire, but we are worried about the cost. Is it really worth the splurge?

The location is key. Having easy reef access right from the resort is a huge bonus for snorkelers. Great read!

I'm curious about the dining options. Did you find the on-site restaurants varied, or was it mostly resort fare?

We stayed at a different place and found the service lacking. Did you have to book a specific package to get that high level of attention?

Seriously considering this. How far in advance do you recommend booking, especially for peak season?

I'm glad to hear the service was good. Sometimes the location is great but the staff makes all the difference. Bonaire is beautiful regardless, though.

What about the non-snorkeling activities? Did you use the resort for any other things, like hiking or local excursions?

I'm skeptical about the 'luxury' part. Did you feel like the resort was overly sterile, or did it feel authentically Caribbean?

We loved the beach, but we were disappointed by the crowds. Was the beach too busy during your week?

Just a heads up for others: while the resort is fantastic, remember to rent your own gear for the reefs. It's more reliable than what they offer.

Totally worth it. We spent a week and felt like we truly escaped. The staff really went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend!

The snorkeling was incredible, but we found a small local dive shop nearby that offered better rates and more personalized tours. Maybe check them out?

I'm looking for a place that balances luxury with a more laid-back, local feel. Was the resort too much of a bubble?

Amazing trip! We were worried about the logistics of getting to Bonaire, but the resort made everything seamless. A perfect getaway.

Did you find the resort walkable to local town amenities, or was everything strictly contained within the resort grounds?
