I spent a long weekend at Cache Creek Resort last month and wanted to share my experience, especially regarding the recent upgrades. The rooms were lovely, very clean, and the views of the creek were absolutely stunning. However, I was really curious about the new spa facilities; did anyone else find the booking process confusing? I had to wait ages for a massage and the changing rooms felt a bit cramped. Overall, the staff were fantastic and very helpful with recommendations for local hikes. It's a great spot, but they could improve the flow between the main resort area and the spa.

Totally agree about the flow. It feels like the spa was tacked on, not integrated. They really need a clearer path from the main lobby area.

The rooms were amazing, 10/10. But seriously, the spa booking system is a nightmare. I spent 20 minutes on hold just to confirm a 30-minute facial. They need an app or something better.

Short and sweet: Great resort, weak spa experience.

I found the changing rooms okay, but definitely crowded during peak times. Maybe going mid-week helps? The massages themselves were fantastic, though.

Did anyone else notice the waiting time for the hydrotherapy circuit? We waited nearly 45 minutes just to get into the hot tubs. It felt disorganized.

I think the spa is undergoing a learning curve. It's a huge expansion, and sometimes things feel a bit chaotic. Give them time to iron out the logistics. The staff were lovely, though!

I heard the breakfast buffet is incredible, even more so than the views. Maybe focus on improving the dining experience flow rather than the spa flow?

Reply to the OP: Yes! The booking process was confusing. I thought I was booking a treatment, but I ended up booking a consultation instead, which was frustrating. They need better signage.

It's a great spot, but I agree with you on the flow. If they could just connect the spa entrance directly to the main resort path, it would make a huge difference. Otherwise, the staff made up for it.

Reply to the OP: The changing rooms were tight, yes. But I think it was just the group I went with. Maybe if you go early in the morning, it's much more manageable.

Honestly, I only went for the hiking recommendations and stayed for the views. I skipped the spa entirely. It felt like a whole separate operation and didn't mesh with the resort feel.

Reply to the OP: You are right about the booking. I found their online portal was terrible. It kept crashing, so I ended up having to call, which was a huge hassle. They need to fix their tech.

We stayed for a week and found the staff so helpful with everything, from local tips to arranging transportation. The resort itself is worth the trip, even if the spa needs some polish.

I'm planning a trip next month. Any advice on which spa package to book to minimize wait times? Thanks!
