My partner and I stayed at Bally's last weekend and I was really curious if anyone else has noticed the changes. The lobby area looks fantastic, much brighter than I remember it being. We stayed in a standard room and while the room itself was clean, the bathroom fixtures felt a little dated compared to the rest of the hotel's aesthetic. Overall, the staff were incredibly helpful, especially at the concierge desk. I spent most of my time at the casino floor, and the gaming machines seemed to be updated nicely. Has anyone else found the dining options to be worth the price point, or are there better alternatives nearby?

The lobby definitely popped. They nailed the lighting updates.

I agree about the lobby. It feels much more modern now, which is a huge plus. The casino floor also looks refreshed, though I found the noise level overwhelming, even with the new machines.

Bathroom fixtures are always the weak link, no matter how much a hotel renovates. It's a tough fix.

Seriously, the concierge staff was amazing. They booked us a great local restaurant that was way better than anything on-site. Definitely check out 'The Blue Plate' nearby.

Are you talking about the main buffet? It was overpriced and felt stale. I found a much better brunch spot three blocks away.

My stay was fine. Standard room, standard experience. Nothing revolutionary, but clean and the staff were polite enough.

The gaming machines are updated, yes, but the actual play area feels cramped. They need to rethink the flow of the casino floor to feel less chaotic.

I found the dining options okay, but definitely not worth the premium price. I packed a lunch and ate at a local deli instead. Save your money!

I think the renovations were mostly cosmetic. The core operational issues, like the dated bathrooms, remain untouched. Disappointing.

I heard the spa area got some upgrades too. Has anyone been? It might be worth checking out if you're looking for relaxation.

I stayed last month. The room was spotless, but I agree with you, the bathroom felt like it was from the 90s. It really clashes with the new lobby aesthetic.

Short answer: No. Too expensive for what it offers. Stick to the local gems.

I loved the new common areas. They really opened up the space. It gives the whole hotel a fresh, energetic vibe. It's a huge improvement over the old, dark layout.

If you are serious about dining, skip the hotel restaurants entirely. The neighborhood has incredible Italian places that are far superior and much more affordable.

The casino floor was lively. I spent hours playing and noticed the machines are definitely newer models. It was a good time overall, considering the slight dip in room amenities.

My partner and I noticed the same thing. The lobby is fantastic, but the standard room bathroom really needs a full overhaul. It's a jarring contrast.

The staff were wonderful. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to help, which made our whole trip much more enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here for the service alone.

I'm going to check out the local alternatives for dinner. Thanks for the tip about the Blue Plate, I'll try it next time!

Overall, a solid 7/10. The renovations are noticeable and positive, but the room amenities need to keep pace with the public areas. Great for a night out, maybe not for a relaxing stay.
