Hi everyone, I'm trying to get back into Captain Cooks, but I keep running into an error message when I try to sign in. I've reset my password twice now, and I'm still getting kicked out before I can access the main dashboard. Has anyone else experienced this recently? I'm using the latest version of the app on an Android device. I checked my internet connection and everything seems fine, so I was hoping someone here might know if there's a known server issue or if I'm missing a specific step. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried clearing the app cache? That often fixes weird login glitches on Android.

Oh man, I had this exact issue last week. It turned out the app needed a forced update, even though it said it was current. Try manually checking for updates through the Play Store.

Server issue is highly likely. Check their official Twitter or status page before troubleshooting your end. Hopefully, it's just them.

Did you try logging in via a web browser instead of the app? Sometimes the mobile client has bugs.

I'm also on Android. I completely deleted the app and reinstalled it. It was a surprisingly simple fix for me. Good luck!

Wait, are you using Wi-Fi or cellular data? Sometimes switching connections forces a re-authentication that clears the error.

User_Alpha: I tried clearing the cache and it worked for me. Did you try that yet?

I found that using a different device (like a friend's phone) to test the login helps narrow down if it's a device-specific problem or an account issue. It's worth the effort.

It might be related to your Google Play Services. Go into your phone's settings, find Play Services, and clear its cache too. It's a deeper fix than just the app cache.

Don't forget to check your date and time settings on your Android phone. Incorrect time settings can mess with secure logins and OAuth tokens.

This is frustrating. I think the problem might be on the backend. Maybe wait 24 hours and try again? Sometimes they roll out emergency patches.

I agree with the cache clearing suggestion. I did that, and it resolved my issue immediately. Thanks for the tip!

Could you confirm if you are using a VPN? Sometimes the IP address change confuses the login system and throws an error.

If none of the above work, you absolutely need to contact Captain Cooks support directly. They can check your account status and see if there are any known blocks or flags on your profile that we can't see.

Hey, I'm getting the same error. I'm going to try logging in using Chrome's 'Request Desktop Site' view first, just in case the mobile rendering is faulty.

I'm also getting kicked out. I think the issue started right after they updated the authentication module. Maybe they need to roll back the update or push a hotfix.

Did you try resetting your device's network settings? It's a drastic step, but sometimes the underlying network configuration gets corrupted and prevents secure connections.

Long shot, but check if any new security patches for Android itself are pending. Sometimes the OS update breaks compatibility with older app versions.

I'm going to try logging in using a completely different email address that I've used before. It might be an account-specific lockout, not an app bug.
