Hi everyone, I'm completely stuck trying to access my Chimba dashboard this morning. I've tried the standard password reset process multiple times, but it keeps giving me an 'invalid credentials' error, even though I know the email address is correct. I've also checked my spam folder for any confirmation links. Has anyone else run into this specific login issue recently? I'm worried if there's a system update or maintenance happening that I'm unaware of. Any guidance on what steps I should take next would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes old data interferes with the login process, even if the credentials are correct.

This is a common issue. When 'invalid credentials' pops up, it often means there's a slight mismatch in capitalization or a hidden space. Try logging in using a completely different browser (like Firefox if you are using Chrome) just to rule out browser-specific glitches.

Did you check if Chimba requires two-factor authentication (2FA)? Sometimes the reset process only gets you to the password, but you still need the code from your authenticator app. Check your email for setup instructions.

Short. Try a different device.

I had this exact problem last month. It turned out the issue was on their end, specifically with their LDAP integration. I had to wait 24 hours for their IT team to manually reset the account flag. You might just need to wait until business hours tomorrow.

Re: I had this exact problem last month... Did you contact support directly? Sometimes the automated reset fails, and only human intervention can fix the account flag.

My account was locked out for security reasons. They required me to verify my identity via a video call. It's frustrating, but it seems they are tightening up their security protocols recently. Call their support line if the web form fails.

I agree with the idea of checking the cache. Also, make sure your time zone settings are correct on your computer, as some systems tie login attempts to local time validation.

Wait. Before you do anything else, check if Chimba has a status page or a Twitter account. Companies usually announce maintenance there before the login portal fails completely. Don't rely only on the login screen.

Re: I agree with the idea of checking the cache. I also found that if I used my mobile data network instead of my home Wi-Fi, the login worked instantly. It was a local network IP block. Try switching networks entirely.

The password reset link might expire very quickly. Try initiating the reset process again, and immediately use the link provided. Don't wait even a minute.

I'm going to try logging in using a VPN just to rule out any geographical IP restrictions. If I'm traveling, this is often the culprit.

It's possible the email address associated with your account was recently updated on their backend, and the system is rejecting the old credentials. If you have any old confirmation emails, check them for the correct, current email address.
