I've been trying to find a reliable source for the archived free coins for Hof. I remember seeing mentions of a specific database or link a while back, but I can't seem to track it down anymore. Has anyone figured out a current method to access these older coin bundles? I'm hoping to use them for some specific cosmetic items that are hard to get now. Any links or step-by-step guides would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

I honestly think those archives were taken down years ago. The game probably changed its backend system.

Dude, you might be thinking of the old forum threads. Sometimes the devs would drop links there, but they are usually paywalled now.

I remember hearing about a specific Wiki page, but I haven't checked it in ages. Maybe searching 'Hof coin archive wiki' with quotation marks will help.

Short. Check the official subreddit.

Has anyone tried contacting the developers directly? Sometimes they have a lost link or an old database access point they can point you toward. It's worth a shot, even if it seems unlikely.

Reply to user_x: I disagree. I found a cached version of the database link on Wayback Machine. It wasn't active, but it showed the structure, which might help someone rebuild the access.

Honestly, I'd bet my money on the coins being tied to a specific seasonal event that has since ended. Trying to brute force an old archive is probably a dead end.

My friend found a guide years ago that mentioned using a specific emulator setting, but I'm not sure if that still works with the current version of Hof. It was super complicated, involving some scripting.

Just try searching Google with 'Hof free coins' AND '2018' to narrow down the timeframe. Sometimes the old blog posts are indexed differently.

Reply to user_y: The Wayback Machine is a good idea, but be careful. Those cached links are often broken or point to dummy pages. You might just waste time.

I think the coins were tied to a specific promotion that required a physical card or a limited-time login bonus. If that's the case, there's no digital archive.

Check the old Discord servers dedicated to Hof. Sometimes the community keeps records of these things, even if the main forum forgets.

Long post: I remember reading a detailed thread about this, and it involved a specific patch note from around 2019. The theory was that the coins were released as a 'developer bonus' and were only accessible through a specific client version that was never officially distributed. It sounds like pure theory now, but it's the most detailed method I can recall. Maybe someone else remembers the patch number?

Seriously, just ask in the main game chat. Maybe someone who is an old player knows something.

Reply to user_z: I think the problem isn't the archive, but the currency itself. Hof might have replaced those old coins with a new, more robust in-game currency, making the old bundles obsolete.

It's a myth. Stop looking for it. Focus on earning them legitimately through current events.

I found a Reddit thread from 2020 that linked to a Google Sheet detailing the bundles. It was a community effort, not an official archive. Might be worth checking that out.
