I'm trying to get back into the chat service, but the new login requirements feel incredibly complex. It keeps giving me an error message even though I'm using the correct credentials and have followed the two-factor setup instructions multiple times. It feels like they've made the login process unnecessarily difficult, almost 'extreme' just to access basic chat features. Has anyone else run into this specific authentication loop, or do you know if there's a temporary bypass or a specific support channel I should be using? I just need to talk to my group and can't seem to get past the verification step.

Ugh, I feel your pain. This new system is genuinely terrible.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies completely? Sometimes the old session data conflicts with the new authentication flow, even if the credentials are correct. It's a common fix for these kinds of loops.

I tried that too, but it didn't work. I was using Chrome, and after clearing everything, I still hit the same verification wall. Maybe the issue isn't the browser, but the specific device or OS version I'm on. Has anyone successfully logged in using the dedicated mobile app instead of the web portal? That seems like a much cleaner workaround if the web side is buggy.

You should try contacting their official support line directly, not through the forum. They might have a manual override code or a dedicated ticket system for these high-friction login errors. Make sure you have your account ID ready to go.

I spoke to them yesterday, and they just told me to 'wait for the patch.' That was useless. I think they are deliberately making it hard to force users back to a paid tier. Have you checked the status page on their main site? Sometimes they list temporary workarounds there before they announce it on the forum.

Try logging in via incognito mode.

It could be a server-side issue affecting a large group of users. If the system is under unexpected load, the complex authentication steps might time out or fail randomly, even if your credentials are perfect. Keep an eye on official announcements for maintenance windows.

I spent an hour trying to get past this thing. I followed the 2FA setup, I re-verified my email, I even rebooted my router, and I still get the 'Authentication Loop' error. It feels like they designed this process to be impossible for regular users. I think they are testing something here, because it's way beyond normal security requirements. I'm considering just switching to a competitor platform because this is wasting too much time.

I agree with the frustration. I found that if you use the older, desktop client (the one that pre-dates the 'extreme' updates), it bypasses the new web-based verification entirely. It's a huge hassle to download, but it gets you talking immediately.

Check your VPN settings.

Has anyone noticed if this is restricted by geographical location? My friend who lives overseas said he had no issues logging in, while I am getting constant errors. It makes me wonder if they are rolling out the new security protocols in phases, and we might be in a bad batch.

Honestly, the only reliable thing I've found is waiting. I saw a thread from last week where someone mentioned that the issue was resolved automatically after a full server migration overnight. Sometimes these complex systems just need a massive restart to clear the temporary bugs. I suggest setting a reminder and trying again tomorrow morning.
