I've been spending a lot of time in the Eldorado mining zones lately, trying to optimize my resource gathering. I'm currently using a combination of runes and basic mining gear, but I feel like I'm hitting a wall regarding efficiency. Does anyone have specific recommendations on better gear setups, or perhaps a more optimal rotation of mining spots? I'm trying to balance speed with the quality of the materials I collect, and I'm not sure if I'm missing any key strategies or if there's a better way to manage my inventory while I'm out there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Check the deep veins near the eastern ridge. They yield rare ore.

I found that using the 'Aetheric Siphon' runes dramatically increases yield per minute. Don't forget to upgrade your pickaxe durability; it's crucial for sustained mining sessions. Also, try mapping out the entire zone beforehand to avoid backtracking.

Focus on stamina management. Take short breaks every hour.

Are you talking about the main shaft or the abandoned tunnels? My experience suggests the abandoned tunnels have better resource density, but you need specialized light sources and extra rations to survive the journey there. I recommend bringing at least three healing poultices just in case you encounter aggressive fauna. Also, remember that the best spots change with the seasonal cycle, so check the in-game calendar before you commit to a long mining trip.

Try the north-west quadrant.

The inventory management is key. Don't hoard common materials. Sell them immediately to fund rune upgrades, and only keep the high-tier, unique ores. This maximizes your profit per hour and keeps your weight manageable for faster movement between spots.

I think the issue is your runes. Try switching to the 'Velocity' rune set instead of the standard enhancement set. It's much better for pure speed mining.

Totally agree. The Velocity runes are a game changer for throughput. I also found that grouping your mining spots into a triangle pattern minimizes travel time between rich veins. It's a simple optimization, but it adds up over a full day's run.

Gear matters most. Upgrade your boots for movement speed. It saves so much time.

Have you considered using specialized grappling hooks? It allows you to bypass difficult terrain and reach veins that are otherwise inaccessible, saving massive amounts of time that would otherwise be spent traversing difficult pathways. It's a minor investment, but the time savings are exponential.

I also found that the local merchant in the main town offers a better exchange rate for certain low-grade ores than the vendors inside the mining zone. Always check the market prices before you start gathering.

Rations are vital. Never underestimate the impact of hunger debuffs on your mining speed. Bring extra dried meat and maybe some medicinal herbs for quick recovery.

You need a better pickaxe. Look for the 'Adamantine Edge' upgrade. It resists the elemental damage that slows down standard mining gear over time. This is a must-have investment if you plan on serious resource farming.

The optimal rotation is less about spots and more about managing your energy output. Pace yourself. Don't sprint constantly. A steady, sustainable rhythm will always beat a burst of unsustainable effort.
