I've been hearing a lot of buzz about this William Hill game, but I haven't been able to find any solid reviews or gameplay footage. I'm really interested in checking it out, especially since I'm a big fan of the character. Has anyone actually played it recently and could share some advice? I'm particularly worried about the difficulty curve, and I want to make sure I don't waste my money on something I can't master. Any tips on the best starting class or essential items would be greatly appreciated.

Oh man, I played that last month. It's actually pretty solid, but the early game is a bit grindy. Stick with it!

I'm totally with you on the character hype. I found the 'Adept' class really overpowered if you focus on elemental damage early on. Don't start with the warrior unless you plan on heavy gear investment. Also, check out the hidden quest line in the Whispering Woods; it gives huge XP boosts.

The difficulty curve is steep. Be prepared for that. Just focus on basic resource management first.

Agreed. I spent hours just trying to figure out the crafting system. It's confusing, but essential. Make sure you gather the rare Lumina ore; it's needed for almost every top-tier item. I recommend saving your gold until you hit level 20.

Has anyone figured out the best build for pure DPS? I'm stuck between the mage and the rogue.

The rogue build is fantastic for DPS, but you need high Dexterity and some specific enchanted gloves. Don't skimp on the gloves!

I think the mage is actually stronger in the late game. The elemental synergy is unmatched, even if the start is slow. You need to prioritize Arcane focus over raw damage initially.

Short. Just start with the Adept.

I found that if you pair the Adept with the 'Guardian' passive skill, you can tank almost anything up to the mid-game boss. It's a niche combination, but it works wonders for beginners who are worried about getting overwhelmed by combat.

Seriously, the starting class choice matters way more than people think. If you are a pure beginner, the Warrior is actually the safest bet because its early gear is readily available and robust. Don't worry about the difficulty curve if you stick to the basics.

What about the mandatory side quest in the capital? Is it worth the time?

Yes, absolutely. It unlocks a crucial vendor discount and provides the initial blueprint for the legendary shield. Don't skip it, even if it seems tedious.

I heard the endgame content is totally unbalanced. Is that true?

It's balanced, but you have to understand the mechanics. The key is rotational synergy, not just raw power. Focus on learning the cooldowns of your main abilities. I spent ages watching YouTube tutorials to nail it down.

Do you need to grind the side dungeons for resources, or is it better to stick to the main story path?

A mix, honestly. The main story gives you the plot progression and necessary story gear, but the side dungeons are where you get the rare crafting materials and the repeatable currency needed for upgrades. Don't ignore the side content.

Best starting item is the 'Whisperwind Bow.' It's cheap but gives incredible early range advantage.

I found the Whisperwind Bow, but I think the basic enchanted staff is better for the Adept class. It synergizes perfectly with the elemental damage buffs and lets you bypass the initial gear bottleneck. It's a little more expensive, but the payoff is huge. My advice is to save up for that staff rather than spending on early weapons.
