I was scrolling through some sketchy-looking ads online today and kept seeing references to a 'Nike Casino' or something similar. I'm really confused because Nike is a sportswear brand, and casinos are for gambling. I'm trying to figure out if this is some kind of legitimate partnership, or if it's just a scam trying to lure people in. Has anyone actually used this service or seen any proof that it's real? I'd appreciate any advice on whether I should ignore it or if there's some background I'm missing.

Definitely a scam. Nike has nothing to do with online gambling. Ignore it.

I did a quick search, and there are zero credible reports of any partnership. It sounds like a phishing attempt using a well-known brand name to trick people. Be very careful with your personal info.

This is exactly what happens when scammers use brand names. They know people trust Nike, so they attach a dubious service like a casino to it to make it seem legitimate. I wouldn't even consider clicking any links associated with it. Stick to official Nike channels only.

Totally agree with the OP. It's highly suspicious. I saw a similar thing for another major retailer last year, and it turned out to be nothing but a data grab. Always verify the source before you engage.

Has anyone actually seen the terms and conditions for this 'promotion'? Usually, if a major brand is involved, there's a press release or a dedicated landing page that is hard to miss. The lack of official documentation is a huge red flag.

Replying to the previous post: I checked the domain name they were using. It was a completely random subdomain, not anything associated with Nike's main corporate structure. That's almost always a giveaway that it's fraudulent.

I think the OP might be missing that the only thing Nike is promoting is their actual shoes and apparel. If they wanted a partnership, they would advertise it through their official apps or stores, not through sketchy ads.

It's probably a combination of unrelated keywords being stuffed into the ads. They are targeting people who search for 'Nike' and also search for 'casino' hoping to trick them into clicking. Don't fall for the bait.

Seriously, treat it like spam. If it sounds too good to be true, it absolutely is. I recommend blocking those ad sources entirely. Stay safe out there.
