Has anyone dealt with a suspicious request from amazonaws.com?

I received an email today that seemed to be from AWS, specifically mentioning amazonaws.com, and it was asking me to verify some credentials immediately. The sender address looked slightly off, and I'm really worried it might be a phishing attempt. Before I click anything or provide any information, I wanted to ask if anyone here has encountered this specific domain or if it's common for AWS to send out urgent verification requests like this. Any advice on how to check its legitimacy would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to be safe with my account.
