I'm planning a trip on Royal Caribbean soon and I'm trying to build a solid itinerary. I keep seeing different times mentioned online for the casino, and I'm worried about showing up when it's closed or just starting up. Could someone who has been on a recent cruise share what the general hours are, especially if the hours change based on the port or the day of the week? Knowing the reliable schedule would really help me plan my gambling time and make sure I don't waste a whole afternoon waiting for the doors to open.

Generally, they open around 11 AM and stay open until late. Check the daily activity board!

I found that the hours are much more flexible than advertised. On our last trip, they opened late due to a storm, and closed early because of a port delay. Always confirm on the ship's app the morning of.

It's usually open all day, but the atmosphere changes. It's quiet in the afternoon, and it really picks up after dinner service (around 7 PM).

My experience was that they were open from 10 AM to midnight every single day. I recommend going right when they open to beat the crowds.

I'd say 10:30 AM to 1:00 AM. Weekends seem to have later closing times, maybe until 2 AM.

The casino hours on Oasis Class are notoriously inconsistent. I recommend treating them like an amenity that might change. Just plan for a solid afternoon slot, say 2 PM to 6 PM, and be flexible.

Are you planning to gamble a lot? Because if you are, don't rely on a fixed schedule. Sometimes they run special events that extend hours significantly. Ask the Guest Services desk upon arrival for the current schedule.

I heard that the casino sometimes closes for maintenance or due to staffing issues, even if the schedule says otherwise. Don't assume it's open just because the brochure says so.

I think they are open from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM. I was on a trip where they were closed for half a day due to a tropical weather warning, so definitely check the daily bulletin board!

Reply to User 4: Yes, I agree with the 10 AM start time. It gives you time to settle in after breakfast without rushing.

Reply to User 2: That's a good point about the port delays. It makes planning impossible. I always factor in a half-day buffer just in case the ship is held up.

I found that the best time to go is right after the main dining room dinner rush dies down, maybe between 9 PM and 11 PM. The energy is great then.

Don't worry too much about the exact hours. The casino is a fun addition, but the main activities like the shows and the pool are more reliable for itinerary building. Focus on those first.

My personal tip is to check the 'Daily Planner' on the TV screens or the digital directory. They update the hours for the casino, spa, and shows every single morning. It's the most reliable source.

I had a terrible time because I relied on an online forum post that was weeks old. The hours had changed completely. Seriously, check the physical daily schedule on the ship.

It really depends on if you are in a port that is doing a big festival or event. Sometimes the casino gets extra hours to accommodate the local excitement. Just ask the staff at the desk for local tips.

To counter User 15, I agree that the daily planner is key. I also recommend checking the specific brand of casino games you like. Some machines have their own operating hours that might differ slightly from the main casino entrance.

Short answer: 10 AM to 12 AM. But remember, the casino is always subject to change based on the ship's schedule and local regulations. Have fun and good luck!
