I've been playing the Stargames simulator for a while now, and I'm trying to figure out the optimal strategy for using the bonus credits. I keep seeing different people mention different bonuses, and I'm confused about whether it's better to spend them on ship upgrades or on research modules first. Also, are there any specific days or times when the bonus payouts are higher? Any advice on how to best utilize these free resources would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Focus on research first. It unlocks better tech tiers, which is key.

I found that spending credits on hull reinforcement upgrades gives the best immediate boost. Try it!

Are the bonus credits tied to specific daily events? I haven't noticed any pattern yet.

Definitely save them for the end game. Don't blow them on early-game junk upgrades.

Totally agree with the research focus. Without the tech, the best ship upgrades are useless anyway.

The timing is crucial. Always wait until you hit a major resource bottleneck before spending the bonus credits. This allows you to maximize their impact when you need it most. I found that spending them right before a large combat sequence was incredibly effective, giving you the necessary edge to secure rare materials. Don't waste them on minor repairs; save them for critical system overhauls.

Ship upgrades are better.

How many credits are you usually getting? That might affect the strategy. If it's a small amount, research is safer.

I think the best strategy is a 60/40 split. Use 60% on core ship upgrades (weapons/shields) and 40% on research modules that boost resource gathering rates. This balances immediate power with long-term growth. Also, check the forum guides for specific seasonal bonuses; they often detail the optimal spending path.

The market fluctuations are more important than the credits. Use the credits to buy rare components instead of upgrading.

I'm going to try saving them for the next major planetary defense mission. That's where the real bonuses are.

I disagree with buying components. Upgrades are permanent and scale better over time. Research is good, but raw power from upgrades is unmatched.

Check the developer notes. They usually drop hints about bonus credit multipliers during major updates.

Short term gains are fun, but long term stability comes from tech. Research modules are the way to go.
