I spent a long weekend at Winstar last month and was really impressed with the overall atmosphere. The rooms were beautiful, but I wanted to get some opinions on the spa. I used the thermal baths and the deep tissue massage, and honestly, the facilities feel brand new and very luxurious. Has anyone else been recently? I'm trying to decide if the premium pricing for the spa packages is worth it, or if there are better deals out there. Any tips on booking or specific treatments you recommend would be greatly appreciated!

I went last month. The thermal baths are incredible, seriously worth the price.

The deep tissue massage was excellent, but I found the steam room a little underwhelming. Maybe they need an update there.

Short and sweet: Book the package that includes the facial. It's the best value.

I was skeptical about the premium pricing too. I ended up just doing the sauna and the mineral bath, which was surprisingly relaxing and cost much less. You don't need the full package to enjoy it.

Totally agree with you. The staff were fantastic, and the whole area feels so pristine. I recommend the couples' hydrotherapy circuit if you go with a partner.

I found the booking process online was a nightmare. Call them directly; they were much more helpful and managed to get me a discount code.

I think the deep tissue massage was amazing, but the timing was off. Maybe try booking it first thing in the morning when they are less busy. It really made a difference for me.

The atmosphere is lovely, no doubt. But honestly, I felt the spa was overpriced for what it offered. I spent nearly $400 and left feeling more drained than rejuvenated. Maybe wait for a seasonal promotion.

I'd say the hydrotherapy circuit is the highlight. It's invigorating and the temperature changes are perfect. Don't skip that part!

The mineral baths are beautiful, but they were quite crowded when I went. If you go on a weekday morning, you'll have a much more peaceful experience. Definitely worth it for the ambiance alone.

I agree that the pricing is steep. I recommend checking out local deals sites like Groupon a few weeks before your trip. Sometimes they have package deals that are significantly cheaper than booking directly.

My biggest tip is to book the package that includes the aromatherapy scrub. It's a game changer and makes the entire experience feel cohesive and luxurious. It's worth the extra cost for that specific add-on.

I had a great time, but I felt the deep tissue massage was a bit too aggressive for my liking. I would recommend asking the therapist to adjust the pressure level beforehand. Otherwise, the facilities are top-notch!
