My friends and I are planning a weekend trip to Vegas and we're looking at Westgate. We are a group of six people, and we want something comfortable but also ideally something that gives us good access to the main casino floor. I'm not sure if booking two separate rooms or one suite would be better value, especially considering parking and luggage handling. Does anyone who has stayed there recently have advice on the best booking strategy? Also, are the pool areas generally crowded, or is it more relaxed?

Definitely book a suite. It's much better for a group of six. You get common space and it feels less like you're fighting over two separate bathrooms.

For six people, two connecting rooms are usually the best bet for value, provided you book them through the same corporate package. Suites can be overkill if you aren't planning on having big gatherings.

The pool is massive, but it's not always crowded. It really depends on the day of the week. Weekdays are super chill; weekends are packed, especially near the main bar area.

Parking is a nightmare, period. Seriously, pre-book your valet parking or be prepared to walk a mile or two from the car to the entrance. Don't rely on finding street parking.

I recommend looking at the Westgate Las Vegas property specifically, not the Westgate Grand. The layout and amenities are quite different, and the casino access varies wildly.

A suite is worth the splurge if you plan on having breakfast or hanging out together in the morning. It makes the whole trip feel more cohesive and less like separate hotel stays.

How about checking out the Westgate website directly? Sometimes they have group discounts that are better than third-party booking sites, especially if you mention you are a group of six.

I found that booking two rooms on different floors was surprisingly easy. It gave us the privacy we wanted without paying for a massive suite we never used.

I totally agree with the suite idea. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite and it was perfect. We had a separate living area to relax in before hitting the casino.

If you are only going to the casino and sleeping, two rooms are fine. If you plan on using the common areas, the suite is superior. It's a lifestyle choice, really.

The pool area is generally very relaxed unless there is a major event happening. Just stick to the quieter sections early in the morning or late at night to avoid the crowds.

Don't forget to factor in luggage handling. If you have a lot of gear, a suite might be easier to manage than coordinating luggage across two separate rooms.

I think the best value comes from booking two rooms and then renting a large table or reserving a spot at a lounge. It gives you the flexibility of separate spaces but the group feel.

If you are prioritizing casino access, try to book rooms closest to the main entrance. It saves a lot of walking, especially when you're tired after a night out.

Regarding the booking strategy, I recommend calling the hotel directly. They can often advise on connecting rooms or suite availability that the online system won't show.

We stayed in a suite and it was amazing, but honestly, the biggest cost was the parking. Seriously consider if you need a car in Vegas or if ride sharing is enough.

I'd say two rooms is fine if you are comfortable with the lack of common space. Just make sure you confirm the rooms are close together for easy movement.
