I'm planning a trip and I'm really excited about the coaster, but I've seen mixed reviews online. Has anyone actually ridden it recently and can give me a rundown? Specifically, I'm curious about the intensity of the drops and if the view of the city is actually as good as they say. Also, does the line get ridiculously long, or is it manageable during off-peak hours? Any advice on the best time of day to go would be greatly appreciated.

The drops are intense, honestly. It's a wild mix of speed and height. Wear comfortable shoes and prepare for a serious adrenaline rush!

I went last spring, and the views were incredible, especially around the financial district section. You really get a sense of scale. I recommend going right at sunrise if you can manage it.

Short. Go early.

I found the line manageable if you arrive 30 minutes before opening. Mid-day lines are brutal, but if you hit it right when they open, you'll ride quickly and the crowds haven't peaked yet. Definitely aim for the morning.

I disagree about the views being amazing. They are fine, but they feel very obstructed by the surrounding buildings. I spent more time looking at my phone than the city itself. Maybe take a photo break instead of focusing on the panorama.

Seriously, wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle. It's a lot of walking getting to the boarding area, and you'll be sweating after the ride.

My best advice is to book a timed entry ticket online. It saves so much time waiting in line just to get through the gate. It makes the whole experience feel much smoother.

Totally agree about the timing. If you go late afternoon, the line is going to be a nightmare, and you'll be battling the peak commuter crowd. Stick to the morning hours.

The drops are exhilarating but not scary. It's more of a sustained, thrilling speed than a sudden drop. Definitely worth the hype, even if the lines are long.

To answer your question about the line: it depends entirely on the day of the week. Weekends are peak chaos. If you go on a Tuesday or Wednesday, you'll have a much better chance of getting through quickly. Also, take your time enjoying the pre-ride atmosphere; it's part of the fun.

Did anyone else notice that the view is much better if you stand on the side platform overlooking the river? It gives a different perspective than the coaster itself.
