I'm planning to go see a band at the amphitheater next month, and I'm really nervous about where to get tickets. I've heard conflicting things about the seating arrangement, and I want to make sure I don't end up stuck in a spot where I can't see the stage properly. Does anyone who has been there before know if the upper balcony seats are actually good, or is it better to pay extra for ground-level spots? Also, are there any specific tips for getting there and parking, since that area can get really crowded during big shows? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Definitely get ground level. The view is unbeatable, and you feel closer to the action. Upper balcony seats are fine for a general overview, but if you want to appreciate the band's energy, you need to be close.

Parking is a nightmare. Seriously, park at the adjacent lot and walk in. It's cheaper and much easier than trying to navigate the main venue parking structure after a big show.

I found a great spot near the middle-back. You can see the whole stage setup without being right in the crowd crush. It's a good balance.

The upper balcony is surprisingly good! I went last year, and the acoustics were actually fantastic because of the height. It gave a great perspective on the whole crowd too. Just make sure you bring a blanket or jacket, as it gets chilly up there.

How about getting there early? Like, 30 minutes before the doors open. That gives you time to scope out the best spots and avoid the initial rush. And seriously, walk, don't drive.

Replying to the ground level advice: I disagree. If you're going to a massive show, the ground level gets super crowded and you spend half the time trying to move. I prefer the slight elevation of the second tier. You get the view without the physical struggle.

Just buy a general admission ticket and plan to arrive super early. You can usually find a good spot just by being there before everyone else. Good luck!

I recommend checking the venue map online before you go. They usually highlight sightline restrictions. It's better to know what to expect than to be surprised by a pillar or a badly angled view.

The best tip I can give is to bring a portable charger. You'll be taking pictures and videos the whole time, and you don't want your phone dying halfway through the encore. Also, wear comfortable shoes!

I think the upper balcony is fine, but only if you're okay with a slightly obstructed view of the very front of the stage. The acoustics are good, but the sightline is limited by the people in front of you.

Seriously, the parking is a joke. Look for the public garage across the street. It costs a little more, but it's guaranteed space and you won't spend an hour circling for a spot.

If you're worried about visibility, try to aim for a spot slightly off-center. The stage is huge, and sometimes the best view isn't directly facing the center point. Have fun!
