I finally got to visit Hotel Excalibur last weekend, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, and the decor really lives up to the 'Excalibur' theme. I'm currently looking at booking the premium spa package, but I'm unsure if the deep tissue massage is worth the extra cost compared to just getting the sauna and pool access. Has anyone here used the spa before? Any tips on which treatments are the absolute best value? I want to make sure I maximize my relaxation time without overspending.

Definitely get the deep tissue massage. It's worth the splurge for muscle recovery.

I found the combination of the sauna and the aromatherapy bath to be the best value. It's relaxing without needing the full massage package.

Short. Just go for the foot scrub.

I went last month and I highly recommend the hot stone massage. It really targets those knots in your back that nothing else does. The deep tissue is good, but the hot stones feel more luxurious and less painful, which I prefer. It was a bit pricey, but I felt completely rejuvenated afterward, so I think it was worth the extra cost for a special trip.

Did you check out their package that includes a drink voucher? Sometimes that makes a huge difference.

Reply to previous post (Hot Stone): I agree about the hot stones! But if you are really trying to maximize value, maybe book the sauna and pool access, and then use the money you saved to buy a drink and a snack at the spa café afterward. It gives you the relaxation feel without the high cost of a full treatment.

The location is great, but the spa itself felt a little underwhelming. I found the pool area to be sufficient for a day trip without needing the expensive treatments.

I think the deep tissue is necessary if you've been traveling a lot. It helps reset your body after long flights. Don't skimp on that!

I'd recommend calling them directly before booking. Sometimes they have flash sales or combination deals that aren't advertised online, which could save you a ton of money while still getting a high-quality experience.

Totally agree with the foot scrub idea. It's a perfect, low-commitment treat that makes you feel pampered without breaking the bank. Great advice!
