Hi everyone, I'm planning a trip to the area and I keep seeing mentions of "la casina la felguera" in local guides, but I'm having trouble finding any concrete information online. Could someone tell me if this place is still operational? I'm particularly interested in knowing what kind of experience it offers, whether it's a restaurant, a shop, or maybe a historical site. Any details regarding its current location or opening hours would be hugely appreciated. I want to make sure I don't waste time traveling to a place that's closed down.

Oh man, I was just there last month! It's definitely still open. It's more of a small, rustic tapas spot than a full restaurant.

I think it's a historical site, not a place you eat at. It's mostly ruins now, but they sometimes host local festivals there.

Short answer: Yes, it's operational. But be prepared for a crowd. It's a local gem, not a tourist trap.

My guide said it was a shop selling local crafts, but when I got there, it was closed. Maybe they moved or it's seasonal. I couldn't confirm anything.

Hey, check out the page for the 'Casa Felguera' museum. It seems like that might be the official name, and it's a small exhibit on local history. They have hours listed for the summer.

Was it a restaurant or a shop? I'm confused. Can someone clarify the function of the place?

It's a fantastic experience! It's a small, family-run eatery. They specialize in regional stews and local wine. I recommend going early, like right when they open, to avoid the rush.

I heard it's only open on weekends. If you go on a weekday, you might be disappointed. Call ahead and confirm their schedule!

Replying to the confusion: It's both! It started as a shop, but now they expanded into a small dining area. It's a blend of history and modern dining. Check their Instagram for current menus.

Honestly, I think the local guides might be outdated. I spent an hour driving there and found nothing but overgrown fields. Maybe it's abandoned?

I totally agree with the previous poster. It's definitely a restaurant now. It's worth the drive, but definitely wear comfortable shoes because the area around it is uneven cobblestone.

Long read: I visited last fall. It's located just off the main square, slightly tucked away down a narrow alleyway. It's not marked by big signs, so keep your eyes peeled. It's a very intimate setting, perfect for a quiet meal. They don't take reservations, so plan to arrive early and be patient.

Does anyone know if they accept credit cards? I only have cash on me, and I don't want to risk showing up and finding out they are cash-only.

It's a great spot for photos too. The architecture is stunning. Just remember to respect the area, as it's a working neighborhood, not just a tourist attraction.

If you are looking for a historical experience, check out the nearby municipal archives instead. 'La casina' might just be a local nickname for a different place.

I found a map online that shows a different address. Could someone verify if this new location is the same place everyone is talking about? I'm worried I'm looking for a ghost location.
