I just downloaded the latest version of the Blaze app, and honestly, it feels much slower than the previous one. Whenever I try to access my account history or check my balance, the loading screen seems to hang for ages. I've already cleared my cache and reinstalled the app twice, but the issue persists. Has anyone else noticed a significant drop in performance after this update? I was hoping it would improve the user experience, but right now it's pretty frustrating to use.

Me too. It's painfully slow.

I'm having the exact same problem. My balance check takes forever now. I was using the old version and it was lightning fast. Did they change the backend infrastructure for this update? It feels like they optimized for something else entirely.

Did you try logging in via the web browser instead of the app? Sometimes the mobile app gets bogged down with new features.

I think it's a server-side issue, not the app itself. It seems like the whole platform is overloaded today. Maybe wait until tomorrow?

Short. Just wait for a patch.

Hey, @OriginalPoster, I actually think it's my phone's operating system that's causing the conflict. I'm on iOS 17, and I updated the app right after the OS update. I haven't cleared my cache, but I did restart my phone completely, and that helped a little bit. Have you tried restarting your device since the reinstallation?

This is unacceptable. I spent money on this service specifically because of the smooth UX, and now it's a nightmare. I'm going to start looking at competitors if this isn't fixed by the end of the week.

It's definitely slower. I noticed it when trying to pull up my transaction history. It used to load instantly, now I wait like 10 seconds every time. Very frustrating.

Maybe it's a memory leak? When I open the app and leave it running in the background for a few hours, the performance degrades significantly. I have to force close it every time.

I'm on Android, and I'm running the same issue. It's not just the history; even navigating between the main tabs feels sluggish. It's a noticeable drop in fluidity.

I agree with the OP. It feels like they added a ton of unnecessary bloat code just for marketing purposes. The core functionality is suffering.

Have you checked if your operating system is fully updated? Sometimes the app requires the latest OS version to run optimally.

Seriously, the loading spinners are mocking me. I used to be able to check my balance in one second. Now I feel like I'm waiting for a dial-up connection. Please fix this, Blaze support!

I found a workaround. If you use the dedicated desktop site, it runs perfectly fine. The app seems to have a major performance bottleneck that hasn't been addressed.

Does anyone else think the new UI elements are actually contributing to the slowdown? They look nice, but they might be resource intensive.

I'm going to report this directly to Blaze customer support using the in-app feedback mechanism. Hopefully, they are monitoring the crash logs and performance metrics right now.
