My family and I finally got to visit the Four Bears Casino and Lodge last weekend, and I wanted to share our experience. Overall, we had a really good time, especially the lodge amenities which were much cleaner than I expected. The staff were incredibly helpful, particularly the concierge who helped us book a local tour. The casino itself was fun, but we found the dining options a little overpriced for what they offered. If you're planning a trip, I'd recommend focusing on the lodge activities rather than just the gambling floor for a better balance.

Totally agree about the dining. I paid way too much for a mediocre steak. Stick to the lodge activities!

We went last month and had a fantastic time. The staff really were top-notch. The concierge service alone was worth the trip. It made everything so seamless.

Was the lodge really clean? I found the pool area a little grimy, honestly. Maybe it was just one day.

I'm curious about the local tour you mentioned. Was it a full day trip, or just an afternoon thing? We are planning a visit soon and need recommendations for things to see outside the property.

I disagree on the dining. We had a wonderful seafood dinner and the portions were generous. It's all subjective, I guess.

To jump in on this thread: I found the casino floor itself to be the main draw for us. While the dining was pricey, the atmosphere and the games made up for it. Maybe the lodge is great, but the thrill of the slot machines is unmatched!

It sounds like a solid trip. We plan to go next year and will definitely book a package that includes the lodge amenities. Thanks for the helpful review!

Seriously? You found the lodge amenities clean? We stayed in a room that felt dated and the common areas were dusty. It was disappointing compared to what I expected from a major resort.

I think focusing on the lodge is smart. We spent most of our time walking the grounds and using the gym, and it was much more relaxing than trying to win big at the tables.

The staff were lovely, yes, but the parking fee was a huge hassle. Be prepared for extra costs outside of the hotel bill.

Replying to the person who said the lodge was dirty: I think it might be the specific wing you stayed in. We were in the newer section and it was spotless. Maybe check the booking details before you judge the whole place!
