I just downloaded the Dunder mobile app for my new tablet, and while the interface looks great, I'm running into some major syncing issues. Whenever I make changes or add new entries on the mobile version, they don't seem to consistently update on the desktop platform, and sometimes I have to manually log out and back in just to force a sync. Has anyone found a reliable workaround for this, or is there a known bug that the developers need to address? I'm worried I'm losing work because of this instability.

I'm having the exact same issue. It's incredibly frustrating when you know the data is updated on your phone but the desktop just shows the old version. I've tried clearing the cache multiple times, but nothing seems to stick. It feels like there's a backend conflict between the two platforms.

My workaround was to use the web browser version (not the desktop app) for all critical edits. If I make a change on the mobile app, I immediately open the browser and manually hit the 'refresh' button. This forces a sync check that the dedicated desktop client seems to ignore. It's a tedious process, but it works 9 times out of 10. I suspect the dedicated desktop API connection is buggy right now.

I suspect the issue is related to how the conflict resolution is handled. When two endpoints (mobile and desktop) modify the same field at nearly the same time, the system seems to prioritize the last successful write, which is often the desktop, thereby overwriting the mobile user's changes. This suggests a need for better timestamping and conflict flagging within the core database structure.

The 'nuclear option' I used was to export all my data from the mobile app as CSV files, and then manually import those CSVs into a clean slate environment on the desktop. This bypasses the live sync entirely, but it's a massive headache and only works if the data structure is simple. If you have complex relational data, this is probably impossible.
