I've been trying to master the Mega Spin function in the latest update, but it seems incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes the physics model feels perfect, and other times the spin rate just seems to glitch out completely, making it impossible to predict the outcome. Has anyone found a specific setting or sequence of actions that helps stabilize the spin? I've checked the forums and watched the official tutorials, but I'm still getting wildly unpredictable results. Any advice on optimizing the Mega Spin performance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the exact same problem. It feels like the physics engine is struggling with the high RPMs. Have you tried restarting the simulator completely?

Try setting the friction coefficient manually in the advanced settings. Sometimes the default value is too high, causing the spin to dissipate too quickly.

It's definitely a patch issue. I think they rushed the update. I found that if you pre-load the Mega Spin sequence while the simulator is idling, it stabilizes the initial momentum. It's a weird workaround, but it works for me.

Short. Check your hardware.

>>User_A: I think the issue isn't the physics model itself, but rather the frame rate cap. If your PC is dipping below 60 FPS, the spin calculation gets corrupted. Make sure you're running it at max refresh rate.

Has anyone figured out if the Mega Spin is affected by the weather settings? I noticed a huge difference in consistency when I switched from 'Clear Skies' to 'Overcast'. It made a massive difference in the spin decay.

I found a specific sequence. You need to hit the 'Charge' button three times quickly, then wait for the little blue indicator to flash twice. This seems to prime the system and makes the spin much more predictable. Don't tell anyone, though!

Does anyone else feel like the controls are overly sensitive? I'm using a specialized grip, and even minor tremors seem to throw off the spin rate dramatically. Maybe it needs calibration?

>>User_B: I agree about the hardware. My initial thought was graphics card overheating, but after cleaning my vents and updating my drivers, the Mega Spin performance improved by about 15%. It was probably just dust buildup.

Just stick to the classic spin. Mega Spin is overrated and unreliable right now. It's not worth the frustration.

I tried using the 'Manual Torque Adjustment' feature. It gives you a little more control over the initial velocity, which seems to stabilize the spin path considerably. It's a bit clunky, but reliable.

I think the issue is with the software update itself. I reverted to the previous build version and the Mega Spin was perfect. The developers need to patch this inconsistency ASAP.

Are you sure it's a setting issue? I suspect it might be related to the actual physical simulator hardware. Maybe the bearings need oiling or adjustment?

Wait, I found a YouTube video detailing the 'optimal grip angle' for the Mega Spin. It's not about the button presses, but how you physically hold the controller. Give that a shot!
