I'm trying to get better at gambling in Red Dead Redemption 2, but I keep running into trouble finding the best tables. I know there are a few places, but I'm not sure which ones offer the most consistent action or the highest payout potential. Are there specific locations that are better than others, like Saint Denis versus Valentine? Also, does the time of day or the current in-game event affect which locations are best for Blackjack? Any tips on maximizing my chances without getting instantly robbed would be greatly appreciated!

Saint Denis is definitely the gold standard. The sheer volume of people means the action is constant, and the payouts are generally higher than in smaller towns like Valentine.

I'd say Valentine is surprisingly good for a quick buck. It's less crowded, so you can sometimes get a more focused game without the chaos of the city.

Always check the time of day. Late night games, especially after midnight, seem to have better odds. It's a local legend, but I swear by it.

Totally agree with the Saint Denis hype. But remember, the house always wins eventually. Don't get greedy.

The Black Market in Rhodes is criminally underrated. It's smaller than Saint Denis but the clientele seems to be higher rollers, which means bigger pots.

Has anyone noticed if the weather affects the tables? Like, rain seems to make the games slower, but maybe more profitable?

I found a trick. If you play a few hands and lose, wait 15 minutes. Then go back. The dealers seem to 'reset' the luck cycle.

I think you should try the saloon in Blackwater. It's a good middle ground between the chaos of Saint Denis and the quiet of Valentine. The atmosphere is perfect.

Reply to the 'Black Market' comment: I think it's the consistency that matters. If the game is always running, you can build up a bankroll slowly.

Just go where the action is. Short and sweet.

I never rely on time of day. I just stick to the basic strategy and never chase losses. It's all about discipline. I've lost thousands of dollars to chasing bad streaks.

The biggest tip is to save your best gear for the end. Don't blow all your money on the first table you find. Build up your capital slowly.

I disagree about the time of day. I played at noon in Saint Denis and won big. It's probably just the random number generator, not the clock.

If you are looking for maximum payout potential, forget the main saloons. Try the back rooms of the larger gambling dens. They are secretive and pay better.

Stick to the basics. Blackjack is about card counting, not location. Good luck out there!
