I just got back from a long weekend at the Grand Riviera, and I wanted to share my detailed thoughts. Overall, the location is unbeatable, right on the riverfront, and the view from the balcony was stunning every morning. The casino itself is massive, but it felt a bit overwhelming and the slot machines were pretty noisy. The hotel rooms were luxurious, though, and the concierge service really went above and beyond to help with dinner reservations. If you're planning a trip, I'd suggest checking out the spa area; it was a perfect way to unwind after a day of gambling. Just be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends.

The view really is unmatched. Waking up to that river panorama is worth the price alone.

I totally agree about the noise in the casino. It was exhausting trying to hear my friends talk over the slot machines. Maybe stick to the spa side for a break.

Concierge service was amazing! They booked us a table at a spot we couldn't get into otherwise. Highly recommend staying here for the service alone.

Are the crowds bad all the time? I went on a Tuesday and it was surprisingly quiet, which was a huge plus for relaxing.

I was wondering about the spa. Is it better to book a package or just go for a massage? My friend said the hydrotherapy pool was incredible.

Reply to the user who mentioned crowds: I heard the same thing! We were there on a Saturday night and it felt like a human washing machine. You really need to plan your visits for weekdays if you want peace.

The rooms were beautiful, but I found the minibar prices absolutely ridiculous. Be prepared for that expense if you plan on snacking in the room.

Reply to the user who mentioned the view: Oh, I disagree. While the view is great, the balcony chairs were actually quite uncomfortable. I spent most of my time indoors reading because of that.

Overall, it was a mixed bag for me. The luxury aspects of the hotel were top-notch, but the sheer scale of the casino meant I felt like I was constantly being rushed. It's a big place that needs better flow management. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. Maybe next time I'll just stay for the spa and the location, and skip the gambling.
