Just got back from a weekend trip to Westgate and wanted to share my experience. Overall, I thought the resort offered fantastic value for money, especially considering the included amenities. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing after a day of gambling. However, I found that while the resort itself is nice, the location requires a bit of walking to get to the main strip attractions. If you plan on doing a lot of sightseeing, maybe consider a car service or walking shoes. Still, for a solid, relaxing, and affordable Vegas getaway, I highly recommend it.

Totally agree on the value. For the amenities included, it's hard to beat the price point.

The walking is definitely something to plan for. We walked a lot on day two and my feet were killing me by the time we got back to the room. Maybe stick to the resort for most of your time.

I found the location manageable, honestly. We used the shuttle service a few times, and it was super convenient. It felt like a short, easy walk most of the time, not a trek. The resort itself is huge and beautiful, and the pool area is a major draw. If you aren't planning on intense sightseeing, it's perfect for a chill weekend. Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes, regardless of how far you think you'll walk.

I agree about the walking. We ended up taking an Uber every time we wanted to go out, which saved us a lot of energy and money on painful shoes. Otherwise, the rooms were spotless.

I stayed there last month and I think the location concern is a bit overstated. While it's not directly on the main drag, the pathways are well-maintained and the distance is much less daunting than you might think. We walked to a few nearby restaurants and it was a pleasant stroll, not a marathon. The biggest plus was the amazing buffet options and the sheer size of the property. It really felt like a self-contained oasis, which is exactly what we needed after a long week. I highly recommend it for a relaxed vibe.

You might be right that it's a bit of a walk. My experience was similar, and I think it's more of a 20-30 minute walk to the main action, which is a bit much if you're dragging luggage or are tired. Maybe check out the nearest transit options before committing.

How far are we talking about? When you say 'a bit of walking,' are we talking a 5-minute stroll or a 20-minute hike? I'm trying to gauge if I need to rent a car or rely on walking shoes for the whole trip. The value seems great, but the logistics are key for planning.

Couldn't agree more about the affordability. It's perfect for a weekend where you want to splurge a little on fun but keep the overall costs down. Just remember those comfy shoes!
