I just got back from a weekend trip to Las Vegas and stayed at Westgate. Overall, I thought the value was fantastic, especially considering the rates compared to the Strip hotels. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around to other areas. My only minor complaint was that the buffet line got really crowded during peak dinner hours. If you're looking for a solid, no-frills experience with great amenities, I highly recommend checking out Westgate. It felt much more relaxed than some of the mega-resorts.

Totally agree. The value proposition at Westgate is unmatched compared to the Strip prices. Great find!

It really is a solid option. I prefer the atmosphere of Westgate over the overwhelming feeling of some of the huge mega-resorts. It feels more like a local getaway, which I appreciate.

Regarding the buffet, I found that going right at opening time or late evening helped immensely. If you plan on eating there, try to time it around 10 AM or after 8 PM to avoid the peak rush. Also, don't forget to check out the local shops nearby; they have some unique finds that are much cheaper than on the Strip. Overall, it's a fantastic base for exploring Vegas without breaking the bank. I spent a whole day just wandering the surrounding areas and felt like I got a much richer experience for the money.

I found the amenities decent, but I think the room quality was slightly underwhelming for the price point. I expected a little more polish, honestly. Maybe it's just me, but I felt it was overpriced for what it offered.

I used to think the value was questionable, but after staying there twice, I realize how much better the overall experience is. The staff were friendly, the grounds were beautiful, and the fact that you can walk everywhere without needing a car was a huge bonus. It truly offers a comfortable, low-stress Vegas trip, which is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended for a relaxed weekend.

Yeah, definitely try going early for the buffet. I found the lines were manageable then.

Are the pool areas well maintained? I was hoping for a nice spot to relax during the day, not just the evenings.

I understand the critique about polish, but I think you are comparing it to a different category of hotel. For the price, the value is incredible. You get the amenities and the location without the insane overhead costs of the mega-resorts. It's a smart choice for budget-conscious travelers who still want a fun Vegas experience.

I felt the same way about the relaxed vibe. It was a nice change of pace from the chaos of the central Strip hotels.

Overall, it was a solid stay. The rooms were fine, and the casino itself was fun enough for a weekend trip. I'd recommend it to friends looking for a good balance of fun and budget.
