My partner and I just got back from Aruba, and we decided to treat ourselves to a full day at the Hyatt spa. Overall, it was incredible, but I wanted to get some community feedback on a few things. The massage therapist was phenomenal, truly skilled, but the pre-treatment consultation felt a little rushed. Has anyone else noticed that the relaxation lounge seating was a bit crowded during peak hours? I think they could improve the flow or perhaps offer a more structured package that includes a longer downtime period. If you're planning a trip, I highly recommend booking the package deal rather than just the massage alone.

I agree about the lounge. It was packed, even mid-afternoon. They really need more seating or better crowd management.

The massage therapist was amazing! Best deep tissue I've had in years. Definitely worth the splurge.

I found the consultation fine, honestly. Maybe it's just peak season. I went on a Tuesday morning and it was pretty relaxed.

Has anyone else noticed the price creep? I feel like the package deal is good, but it's getting expensive compared to other resorts.

To the OP: I had a completely different experience. My consultation was thorough, and the downtime was perfect. Maybe timing matters?

The flow issue is real. It felt like they were trying to cram too much into a short time. A dedicated 'quiet zone' would help.

I highly recommend the package deal too. Booking just the massage felt incomplete, like I was missing the full relaxation experience.

I think the lounge crowding is unavoidable during peak hours. It's a popular spot, so managing expectations might be better than adding more physical space.

Yes! I agree with the OP. The pre-treatment consultation felt like a formality rather than a genuine assessment of my needs. They rushed me through it.

Did you try their specialized scrub treatment? It was heavenly, though I agree the waiting time for it was excessive.

I think the problem isn't the spa itself, but the resort's overall staffing levels. Everything felt stretched thin, from the lobby to the treatment rooms.

Replying to the OP: I think the package deal is smart, but maybe they should offer a tiered option? Like a 'basic' package and a 'premium' package with more downtime.

Overall, 8/10. The skilled therapist saved the day. Just wish the transition between services was smoother. Great location though!

I'm debating going back. The spa services were fantastic, but the sheer lack of space in the relaxation area really detracted from the overall tranquility I was hoping for. Maybe I'll try a different resort spa next time.

It was fine. Nothing spectacular. I spent most of the time just waiting for the next thing to happen. Not worth the 'splurge' money.
