I finally made it to Thunder Valley over the weekend and wanted to share my thoughts. The resort itself is massive and definitely has a lot to offer, especially the dining options. My room was clean and comfortable, but the check-in process was surprisingly slow, which was frustrating to start the trip off. The main casino floor was lively, and I had a great time at the slot machines. I would recommend checking out the pool area during the day, but maybe plan for some downtime after the initial rush. Overall, it's a solid spot for a getaway, but they need to improve their guest flow management.

I agree about the guest flow. It felt overwhelming trying to navigate the main walkways.

The dining options really are a highlight. We had a fantastic meal at the Italian place.

Long. I spent a whole weekend there and I think the resort is fantastic, but the parking situation was a nightmare. It took us almost 20 minutes just to find a spot near the entrance. Also, while the rooms are nice, the Wi-Fi signal in the gaming area was incredibly spotty, which is really frustrating when you're trying to relax or stream something. I also found the staff in the gift shops to be a little disinterested. Overall, it's a solid choice, but they need to invest in better infrastructure, especially the connectivity and parking management. I wouldn't give it 5 stars because of those operational hiccups, but I'd definitely recommend it for a big trip.

Seriously, the check-in line was ridiculous. We waited 45 minutes just to get keys. Management needs to hire more people during peak times.

I found the casino floor lively, but it got incredibly loud by the evening. It was hard to even hold a conversation at the table. Maybe going earlier in the day is better for a relaxed experience.

You mentioned the slot machines. Were they worth the time? I spent a lot of money and didn't win much.

Definitely plan for downtime. I was exhausted after the initial rush. A quiet walk through the gardens was perfect.

It's a solid spot. Worth the trip, minus the initial frustration.

I disagree about the guest flow. I think the size contributes to the energy. You have to embrace the chaos a bit!

The room was fine, but the breakfast buffet was mediocre. Too many options, nothing really stood out.

I think the resort is fantastic. The dining variety is unmatched, and the pool area is huge. I'd give it 4.5/5 stars. Just be prepared for the crowds, though.

I agree with the slow check-in. It really sets a bad tone for the whole vacation.
