I just got back from a weekend stay at the Westin and wanted to share my detailed thoughts. Overall, the room itself was beautiful and very comfortable, especially the bedding. However, the pool area felt a little dated compared to some of the newer resorts in the area. The service was generally excellent, particularly the concierge who helped us book dinner reservations. I found the location convenient for walking to some of the nearby attractions, but parking was a bit of a hassle. If you're looking for a classic, reliable Vegas stay, it's great, but maybe check out photos of the amenities before booking.

Totally agree about the bedding. Seriously, best sleep I've had in Vegas.

The location is unbeatable for walking, but the parking situation is a nightmare. I spent way too much time circling for a spot.

I found the pool area underwhelming too. It feels like they haven't updated it since the early 2000s. For the price, I expected more modern amenities.

Speaking of service, the concierge was fantastic. They handled all our dinner reservations and even got us tickets to a show we didn't know about. Highly recommend them!

I disagree on the pool. It was fine for a quick dip, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Maybe it's just a matter of perspective.

Did anyone else find the room service pricing to be excessive? It felt like paying a premium just for a simple breakfast.

It's true, the Westin is reliable. If you prioritize a comfortable bed and a classic Vegas feel over cutting-edge pools, it's a solid choice. Just budget extra time and money for parking.

Replying to the previous comment: I think the service is the main selling point. The staff genuinely seems to care, which makes up for the slightly dated look of the pool.

Short and sweet: Great stay. Loved the convenience and the comfort. Worth it for a reliable trip.

I also found the parking a hassle. We ended up paying for valet parking just to avoid the headache of finding a spot ourselves. It really adds up when you factor in all the little fees.
