I'm looking at getting the Arnold case for my new iPhone 15, and I love the look of it, but I'm really worried about functionality. Specifically, I use wireless charging constantly, and I've read mixed reviews about third-party cases interfering with the charging coils. Has anyone used this particular model and found that it maintains full compatibility with MagSafe or Qi chargers? I don't want to buy something that looks great but ends up being useless because it overheats or won't charge properly. Any real-world feedback on charging performance would be a huge help before I commit to the purchase.

I used it for a month. Charging was fine, but it did get warm when using intensive apps while charging.

Short answer: Yes, it works with MagSafe. I charged my 15 Pro Max in it multiple times without any issues or overheating.

I found that the case itself seems to slightly block the optimal alignment for some third-party Qi pads. You might need to slightly adjust the phone's angle on the charger for a perfect connection. It's not a dealbreaker, but be aware of it.

Has anyone tried the older iPhone 14 model with this case? I'm worried the fit might be off, which could affect charging alignment.

Reply to the user above: I used it on the 14, and it was perfect. The case seems designed to accommodate the slight size increase of the 15 series, so don't worry about that.

I think the issue isn't the case, but the charger itself. My old MagSafe charger struggled with it, but I switched to a newer, higher-wattage one, and the charging speed improved dramatically. Try swapping out your charging brick.

It's a pretty bulky case. While it passes the charging test, it definitely adds noticeable weight. If weight is a concern, you might want to look at something slimmer.

My experience was mixed. It charges, but the connection feels slightly looser than bare metal. I noticed a drop in charging speed compared to my previous case, which was known to be very thin.

I agree with the user who mentioned overheating. If you are gaming or running GPS while charging, take breaks. The case seems to trap heat more than I expected.

Honestly, I haven't tested the charging aspect much because I mainly use it for aesthetics. It looks amazing, though. If charging is your absolute top priority, maybe stick to a known brand that specializes in charging compatibility.

I bought this case specifically for the look, and I haven't had any issues with Qi charging. Just make sure your charger pad is clean. Sometimes dust buildup is the real culprit.

Reply to the user who mentioned speed: I also noticed a slight slowdown, but I suspect it's due to the material thickness. It's a trade-off between protection and optimal charging speed, I think.

It's solid. I've charged it 10+ times now, and it has maintained full compatibility with both MagSafe and standard Qi pads. Zero issues.

I recommend checking the return policy first. If you buy it and find the charging performance unacceptable, you need an easy way out. Don't commit to a purchase without knowing your return options.

The case is great for protection, but I did find that if the phone is slightly dirty or has a smudge on the back, the wireless charging connection struggles to establish itself. Keep the back clean!

I think the rumors about interference are mostly exaggerated. I've used it daily for two weeks, and charging performance is exactly what I expected. It's reliable.

Reply to the user who mentioned weight: Yeah, it is heavier. But the grip improvement is massive. I used to drop my phone constantly, and this case has made a huge difference in safety, which is worth the extra weight to me.

Just be mindful of the charging angle. Some chargers require the phone to be placed perfectly flat, and the bulk of this case might make that tricky. It's more about placement than the case itself.

Overall, I'd say it's fine. It charges, but if charging speed is your ONLY concern, there are sleeker, cheaper options out there that might perform marginally better.
