I finally booked a stay at the Venetian Hotel last month, and I wanted to share my detailed feedback. The location itself is absolutely stunning, right on the water, and the room decor is opulent. However, I'm debating if the cost truly justifies the experience. While the service was impeccable, the main issue was the noise level from the canal, especially in the evenings. I think it's amazing for photos, but if you're looking for a quiet retreat, maybe consider a room slightly further back from the main thoroughfare. Overall, a magnificent stay, but prepare for the crowds and the price tag!

The noise is brutal. I spent a night there and barely slept. Definitely book a higher floor if you want peace.

Totally agree about the cost. It's a splurge, yes, but maybe consider booking a package that includes an activity or dinner credit to justify the price tag. The view alone isn't enough to cover the bill sometimes.

Gorgeous photos, but yes, the crowds are insane. I recommend visiting early morning before 9 am for the best, quietest shots.

I found the service to be perfect, even if the room was loud. The staff compensated for the noise with incredible attentiveness. It was worth it for the overall luxury experience.

Replying to this: I actually stayed in a room slightly further back, and it was heavenly. You get the view without the constant boat traffic noise. Definitely worth the slight downgrade in 'prime' location for the peace.

It's beautiful, no doubt. But if you are sensitive to noise, you really need to research the specific street layout and ask for advice on a quieter corner.

Short and sweet: Amazing views, but bring earplugs. Seriously.

I think the noise is part of the charm, honestly. It's the sound of life happening. You go there to experience the vibrancy, not to sleep in silence. It's a trade-off you have to accept.

Is_reply: true. I disagree that the noise is unavoidable. We were on the upper canal level, and it was surprisingly muted by the architecture. Maybe the noise is more noticeable depending on the time of year or the specific season's events.

For a photo opportunity, yes, it's unmatched. But if you are prioritizing sleep and tranquility over Instagram-worthy shots, save your money and stay elsewhere. It's a gorgeous place, but expensive for what you get if you're not prepared for the chaos.
