We just got back from a long weekend at Caesars and I wanted to share our honest thoughts. Overall, the location is unbeatable, especially if you plan on walking around the Strip a lot. Our room was lovely, but we found the service charges for basic things, like towel service or extra toiletries, to be quite high. We spent most of our time at the Forum Shops and the casino floor, which was fun, but I think guests need to be prepared for some nickel-and-diming. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, you might want to compare prices with other major Strip hotels. Still, for the sheer atmosphere and grandeur, it's hard to beat.

The location truly is unmatched. You can't beat walking everywhere from Caesars.

I completely agree about the grandeur. While the service charges can sting, you are paying for an entire atmosphere. It feels like a destination, not just a hotel. We went for a special anniversary trip, and the sheer scale of the Forum Shops made the premium price feel justified, even if we did have to be careful with the incidental fees. It's an experience, and sometimes experiences cost more.

Are the toiletries charges really that bad? I thought they were standard resort fees.

Seriously, prepare for the fees. Don't assume basic amenities are included. Just budget extra cash for the 'extras'.

Totally agree about the budget comparison. If you are purely focused on gambling and don't need the full luxury experience, looking at Bellagio or even some of the smaller, non-resort hotels might save you a fortune without sacrificing the fun.

We stayed for four nights and spent hours just wandering the casino and the shops. It's overwhelming in the best way possible. The energy, the lights, the sheer commitment to luxury decor throughout the property is incredible. It's a sensory overload, but in a good way. If you want that 'wow' factor, Caesars delivers it every time. Just remember to pace yourselves and budget for those little add-ons!

Oh man, I felt that. The towel service was ridiculous. We just used the pool towels and saved about $40. Next time, I'm bringing my own beach towel to avoid that charge.

My advice is to set a strict daily spending limit for 'extras' before you even check in. The temptation to buy something small or use a service you don't need is huge, and those small charges add up incredibly fast. The grandeur is real, but so is the wallet drain. Plan your meals and activities to minimize unnecessary charges.

It's a trade-off, I think. You pay the premium for the convenience and the atmosphere, but you have to be vigilant about those little service charges. It's not a 'no' but a 'be prepared' kind of trip.
