I finally got a chance to check out 888 Casino in New Jersey last weekend, and I wanted to share my initial thoughts with everyone. The atmosphere was pretty lively, especially in the main gaming floor, but the layout felt a little confusing when I was trying to find the specific slot machines I wanted. Customer service was surprisingly helpful when I had an issue with my card, which was a huge plus. However, I found the food options to be quite overpriced for what they offered. Has anyone else been recently? I'd love to hear if the buffet is worth the hype or if there are better dining alternatives nearby.

The layout really is confusing. I spent way too much time just trying to navigate from the cage to the main slot area. Definitely needs better signage.

Regarding the dining, I found the buffet to be decent, but honestly, if you're serious about saving money, walk two blocks over to the Italian place. It's much better value and the atmosphere is calmer than the casino dining area. Just be prepared for a short walk.

I had a similar experience with customer service. When my debit card declined, the attendant was super quick and knowledgeable. That kind of support makes a huge difference when you're trying to play.

Did you try the high-limit tables? They were packed.

Totally agree about the food being overpriced. I ended up just getting a quick slice of pizza from a nearby spot instead of eating at the casino. Save your money and walk out!

Overall, it felt like a bit of a cash grab. The atmosphere is fine, but the cost of everything, from drinks to the mediocre food, makes it feel less like a fun night out and more like a financial commitment. I felt like I spent more on meals than on actual gaming.

Yeah, the layout is a nightmare. I got lost trying to find the specific video poker section I wanted.

I recommend going on a weekday afternoon. The crowd levels are much more manageable, and you can actually get a sense of the casino without feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of people. It makes the whole experience feel less frantic.

The buffet is okay, I guess, but I wouldn't call it worth the hype compared to the cost. If you're looking for a good meal, I'd suggest checking out the local diner a few blocks away. It's authentic and much more reasonably priced.

It was lively, yes, but the confusion about the layout was the biggest drawback. I wish they would dedicate more resources to improving the signage and flow of foot traffic. Otherwise, it's a solid, if slightly overwhelming, spot.
