I spent a weekend at Silverton Casino and wanted to share my full thoughts with anyone planning a trip. Overall, it was a decent experience, but it's definitely not the flashy, high-energy vibe of some of the mega-resorts. The slot machines were fun, and the atmosphere was more relaxed, which I actually appreciated. However, I found the dining options a bit overpriced for the quality, and the room service was slow. If you're looking for a low-key night out with good value on gambling, it's great, but don't expect Vegas glitz.

Totally agree about the vibe. It's more of a local spot than a destination spectacle. Perfect for a chill night.

I was there last month. The gambling value is definitely there, but I found the parking fees to be a huge hidden cost that wasn't factored into the 'value' equation. Also, the valet service was confusing and slow.

Short. Fun. Relaxed.

You hit the nail on the head with the dining. I ordered appetizers and felt like I was paying for fine dining, not casual casino fare. I'd recommend checking out the local restaurants nearby instead if you want better value.

Speaking of dining, did anyone try the Italian place? I heard it was surprisingly good, maybe better than the main casino buffet. It was a bit of a trek, but worth it for the food quality alone.

Totally agree with you about the lack of 'glitz.' I prefer that. The mega-resorts feel exhausting just trying to keep up with the constant noise and flashing lights. Silverton is much more manageable.

Is it true the room service is slow? I waited nearly an hour for a simple bottle of water. Maybe call ahead or just eat out. Don't rely on it.

I think the room service speed is just dependent on how busy they are. We were there on a Tuesday, and even then, it took a while. But overall, the machines were great. I won a little money, which was the main goal!

For a low-key night, it's perfect. I went just for the slot machines and didn't care about the fancy restaurants. Good spot for a quick, fun escape.

I found the atmosphere surprisingly cozy, which was a huge plus for me. It felt less overwhelming than other places. Just remember to budget extra for tips, because the staff, while slow, were polite when they did interact with us.
