I'm trying to upgrade my phone, and ASUS has a few models that look great, but the pricing seems really confusing across different retailers. I'm specifically looking at the Zenbook line, but I'm not sure if I should prioritize camera quality or battery life given my budget. Has anyone bought an ASUS phone recently and found a good deal? I'm trying to avoid paying too much for features I won't even use. Any advice on current sales or which model offers the best bang for the buck would be hugely appreciated.

Dude, check out the ASUS Flair. It's amazing value for the price point.

You might be confusing phones and laptops. The Zenbook is a laptop line, not a phone. If you want a phone, look at the ROG Phone series for gaming value.

For pure battery life, nothing beats the latest models with the biggest mAh batteries. Don't skimp on that, especially if you're on the go all day.

I found a great deal on an older Zenbook model last week. It had a fantastic screen and was way cheaper than the new ones. Maybe look for last year's generation?

Camera quality is highly subjective. If you mainly use it for social media, a decent camera is fine. If you're doing professional photography, prioritize the sensor size over megapixels.

Short. Go for the battery.

I agree with the battery advice. I used mine heavily for video conferencing and streaming, and the battery life was the biggest selling point. It really kept me going for a full workday without needing a charger.

Has anyone checked out the sales at Best Buy? They often have bundles that include accessories and a discount on the device itself. That's usually where you find the best overall deal.

Why do you think prioritizing the camera is worth the extra cost? I found that the processing power and screen quality were much more noticeable in my daily use.

The ROG Phone line is great if gaming is your priority. The cooling system and processing power are unmatched in that segment. If you just want general use, the Zenbook is overkill.

To reply to the camera point: I think the camera is important, but only if you plan on doing a lot of low-light shooting. Otherwise, the difference between models is minimal.

I'd recommend looking at Reddit's r/androiddeals. People post daily deals and comparisons there, which is way more current than retailer websites.

Honestly, I think the biggest value right now is finding a model with a high refresh rate display. It makes everything feel smoother, whether it's scrolling or gaming. That's a noticeable upgrade even if the camera is just okay.

I think the Zenbook is a laptop. You need a phone, man. Check out the Pixel or Samsung alternatives if you want a phone with good value.

I bought an ASUS phone last month and the battery life was stellar. I only charge it maybe once every two days with moderate use. Definitely worth the splurge.

If you are sticking with ASUS, make sure you check out the display specs. OLED screens are a massive upgrade in viewing pleasure and contrast, and often the biggest value boost.

Short. Look for sales on the previous generation. Huge savings.

Regarding the budget: If you can find a model with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, you're generally safe for a couple of years without feeling restricted. Don't worry about the camera until you've nailed the core specs.

I used the Zenbook for work and it was perfect, but if you truly need a phone, I suggest looking at the ASUS Zenfone line. They are designed specifically for portability and power.
