I've been trying to use the William Hill mobile app for a few weeks now, and I keep running into connectivity issues when I try to place larger bets. It seems to work fine on my desktop browser, but the mobile version is incredibly glitchy. Has anyone else noticed if the app frequently crashes or if the odds displayed aren't updating correctly? I've already cleared the cache and reinstalled it, but the problem persists. Any advice on whether I should switch to using the mobile website instead, or if there's a known bug with the latest version?

Try switching to Wi-Fi only. Sometimes mobile data causes conflicts.

I had the exact same problem last month. It seems like a known bug with the Android 13 update. You might need to wait for a patch from William Hill.

Just use the mobile website. It's stable and works perfectly for me.

Did you check your VPN settings? Sometimes background network apps interfere with the betting platform's connection.

I agree with the OP. The odds update lag is frustrating. I think it's an issue with their API integration on the mobile side, not the user's device.

Clear the browser cache on your phone too, not just the app cache. Sometimes the residual data causes the glitch.

It's definitely worse on Android than on iOS. Maybe wait until they release an iOS-specific fix first.

Has anyone tried using a different browser, like Chrome instead of Samsung Internet? Sometimes the default browser causes issues.

Long story short: contact William Hill support directly. They need to know how often this is happening so they can fix the underlying code. Don't just post here; open a ticket.

My experience was similar. I found that if I logged out completely and re-logged in after clearing the cache, it resolved the connectivity issues for a few days. It's a temporary fix, but it helps.

It's just the app. It's terrible. Stick to the desktop site, seriously.

The mobile website is much better. It's responsive and the odds refresh instantly. Don't bother with the app right now.

I think it might be related to background battery optimization settings on your Android phone. Try disabling optimization for the William Hill app in your phone settings.

Seriously, check if there are any pending system updates for your Android OS. Sometimes the app simply won't function correctly on an outdated operating system.

I had this issue last week too. I think the problem is on their end, not mine. I reported it to them and they said they were aware of the bug and working on it.

Don't worry about the big bets. Just place small test bets to see if the connection is stable first. If it fails on small amounts, it will fail on large ones.

I found that using a different network provider helped. I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile and the glitches disappeared immediately. It might be a local carrier issue.
