I've been trying to access my account through EveryGame for the last two days, but I keep getting an authentication error. I've reset my password multiple times and cleared my browser cache, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else run into this specific login issue recently? I'm worried my account might be locked out or that there's a server-side problem I'm unaware of. Any advice on alternative login methods or if there's a known maintenance window would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Did you try a different browser entirely? Sometimes the issue is specific to Chrome or Firefox settings.

I had the exact same problem last week. It turned out it was a regional IP block, not an account issue. You might need to try logging in from a VPN or a completely different network connection, like a mobile hotspot. That's what finally got me in. Good luck!

Check your capitalization. It's simple, but people forget it.

Are you sure you are using the official EveryGame portal? Sometimes phishing sites mimic the login page, and the authentication error is just a red flag that something is wrong with the URL. Double-check the address bar carefully.

Wait, I think I know what happened. When I contacted support, they said the error code 'AUTH-403' means the account was flagged for too many failed attempts, even if you think you've reset it. You might need to wait 24 hours or call them directly.

Replying to the IP block idea: Has anyone confirmed if the VPN solution works if the error persists after 24 hours? I'm skeptical that just changing the IP will solve a core account lock.

I'm using Safari on a desktop and I cleared cache and cookies. It still failed. I think the server is definitely down for maintenance, maybe scheduled for the weekend. Keep an eye on their official Twitter account for updates.

I agree with the 24-hour wait time. It's frustrating, but sometimes the system needs time to 'reset' the flag on the back end. Just be patient.

Did you try using the mobile app instead of the web portal? Sometimes the mobile app uses a different authentication handshake that bypasses browser-specific issues.

To follow up on the browser idea: I tried Edge and it worked instantly. It seems the issue was a conflicting cookie setting in my usual browser. It's always the simplest fix, isn't it? Hope that helps!
