I'm trying to deposit some funds on betfred com but I keep getting an error message about my account verification status. I followed all the steps on their site, including uploading my passport and proof of address, and I thought it would be sorted within 24 hours. Has anyone else had issues with the verification system lately? I'm worried that if I can't get my account fully verified, I won't be able to place any bets, which is really frustrating. Any advice on who I should contact or if there's a known delay right now would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried contacting them via live chat instead of just emailing? Sometimes the chat support can escalate the verification ticket faster. Also, double-check that the name and address on your ID match exactly what you have registered on the account.

My experience was different. I submitted everything on a Tuesday and got confirmation by Thursday morning. Maybe it depends on the volume of applications they are currently handling. I recommend checking your spam folder too, sometimes the confirmation email gets routed there.

I agree with the live chat suggestion. When I messaged them on the forum, I got automated responses, but when I used the in-site chat, a real person was able to see the bottleneck and gave me a specific ticket number to reference. It made a huge difference.

Has anyone successfully used a different bookmaker for a week or two while waiting? It's annoying, but at least you can still bet somewhere until Betfred sorts out the verification.
