I'm trying to access bet365 on my mobile browser and I keep getting redirected to a generic or outdated 'home default' page, which isn't what I want to see. I remember setting my preferred landing page to my favorite sport's section, but now it just defaults to the main banner. Has anyone successfully figured out how to manually reset or change the default landing page settings within the account profile? I've checked the settings menu multiple times, but I can't find an option to specify a permanent default view. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Check your browser cache and cookies first. Sometimes the browser itself is remembering an old default, not the site.

I had the exact same issue. I finally found that the setting isn't in the main profile. You have to navigate to the specific sport's page first, then look for a 'Set as Default' button, which is usually hidden in the URL parameters.

Just clear your mobile browser data completely. That usually fixes weird redirection issues.

It might be a known bug with the mobile interface. Have you tried accessing it via the desktop site on your phone's browser? Sometimes the mobile view is buggy.

Are you using Chrome or Safari? The steps for clearing data are different, and sometimes the browser type affects how the site remembers your preferences.

I think the site might be intentionally forcing the main banner view now. They probably want you to see the biggest promotions first, so don't stress too much about changing it.

>>User_XYZ, I agree with the cache clearing. I did that, and it helped with my session data, but it didn't change the default landing page. It seems like the site controls that heavily.

Try using the dedicated bet365 app instead of the mobile browser. The app usually has more robust settings and handles defaults better than the web version.

Sometimes the default view is tied to your last successful bet placement. If you bet on football last, it might default to football odds.

Have you checked if you are logged in correctly? Sometimes if the session token is slightly off, it defaults to the safest, most general page.

I tried setting it to my favorite sport, but after logging out and back in later, it reverted to the main page. It's incredibly frustrating when the settings just won't stick.

If you are using a VPN, try turning it off. Sometimes the IP location changes how the site loads the initial page content.

Did you check the 'Account Settings' under 'Preferences'? Some betting sites hide these options deep within the profile management area, not on the main dashboard.

>>User_ABC, the app is definitely better. I switched from the browser to the app and the default page stuck perfectly. Highly recommend making the switch.

It's possible that the default landing page is tied to the market you are most active in. If you usually bet on tennis, it might default there, even if you want soccer.

Honestly, I just use bookmarks. I bookmark the specific section I want to go to (e.g., 'Soccer Live') and bypass the homepage entirely. It's the easiest workaround.

Could it be related to cookies expiring? If you haven't accessed the site in a while, it might default to the general 'welcome back' page, which looks like a generic banner.

If none of this works, you really need to contact bet365 support directly. They can look into your account settings and tell you if there's a technical limitation on their end.

Wait, I remember reading somewhere that you need to use a specific URL structure with your desired section code appended to the login page. It's a bit technical, but worth a shot.

I think the site is designed to encourage exploration of all markets. They don't want you stuck on one page, which is probably why the setting doesn't exist.
