Hi everyone, I'm trying to access my bet365 account but I keep getting an error message even though I just reset my password. I followed all the steps on the site, and it said the reset was successful, but now I can't seem to log in with the new credentials. Has anyone else experienced this specific issue? I've tried using different browsers and cleared my cache, but nothing works. Any advice on what I should do next, or if I need to contact support directly?

Have you checked if there's a temporary lockout? Sometimes the system needs a few minutes to fully update the credentials after a reset.

I had this exact problem last month. It turns out the issue wasn't my browser, but a cached cookie on my end that was overriding the new password. Clearing the entire cookie store (not just the cache) usually fixes it.

Try using the dedicated mobile app instead of the website. Sometimes the web portal has glitches that the native app avoids. Good luck!

Wait, did you try logging in via a completely different device? Like, if you are on a laptop, try your phone's browser, or vice versa. This helps isolate if the problem is device-specific.

It's almost certainly an account-level flag. You really need to contact bet365 support directly. They can manually verify your identity and force a successful login state. Don't waste time troubleshooting the client side.

Is it possible you accidentally reset the password for a different email address linked to the account? Double-check the email confirmation you received.

I think the issue might be related to two-factor authentication (2FA). If you reset the password but the 2FA method hasn't been updated or reactivated, you'll be stuck in a loop.

I agree with the cookie advice. I cleared my cache and cookies, and it worked immediately. It was a stubborn cookie that wouldn't let me in.

Regarding contacting support, I found their live chat feature much faster than email. Just explain that you successfully reset the password but cannot log in. They usually resolve it in minutes.

Short answer: Contact support. Long answer: Check 2FA, then try a different device, and finally, talk to a human.

Are you sure you are using the correct username? Sometimes after a reset, people accidentally use their email address as the username when it's actually a unique account ID.

Reply to the user above: Yes, I used my email as the username, and that was the problem. It was a simple detail I overlooked. Thanks for the reminder!

I also had trouble. I was told by support that I needed to wait 24 hours after the reset before attempting to log in again. It's a security measure they implement.

If none of the above work, try using a VPN just to change your perceived location. Sometimes geo-restrictions trigger weird login errors even if you are physically in the correct area.
