I've been trying to access my account for the past hour and keep getting an error message even though I am positive my credentials are correct. I already tried the 'forgot password' link multiple times, but it just sends me a generic failure notice. Has anyone else experienced login issues recently, or is there a specific troubleshooting step I should be following? I need to check on some pending bets and I'm getting quite frustrated with this technical glitch.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes old data interferes with the login process, even if your password is correct.

This is a common issue. If the 'forgot password' link isn't working, the problem might be on their end. Try accessing the site via a different browser, like Edge if you are using Chrome, just to rule out browser-specific glitches.

Short answer: Contact support directly. Don't rely on the automated links. They might need to manually verify your identity and reset your access for you. Use the live chat feature if possible.

I had this exact issue last month. It turned out they were performing scheduled maintenance on their authentication servers. I waited about two hours during off-peak times and it resolved itself. Hopefully, it's just a temporary outage.

Did you check if there are any known service alerts on their main social media pages? Sometimes they post about system-wide issues there before notifying users.

Use a VPN? I read somewhere that sometimes geo-blocking or IP restrictions can cause login errors. It's a long shot, but worth trying if nothing else works.

I think you should call them. Seriously. Forget the website links. A phone call allows you to speak to a human who can see the error code you are receiving and provide immediate troubleshooting steps. It's usually faster than waiting for email support.

I agree with the OP. It's incredibly frustrating when you just need to check on a bet. I waited until the next morning, and the issue cleared up completely. Sometimes you just have to wait it out.

Reply to the user above: Waiting until the next day is a good temporary fix, but it doesn't solve the underlying problem. If it's a persistent technical glitch, they need to fix their system, not just wait for the problem to disappear.

Try logging in using the mobile app instead of the desktop site. Sometimes the app uses a different authentication gateway and might bypass the bug you are encountering on the web browser.

Are you sure your account isn't locked due to too many failed attempts? Most platforms have a security measure that temporarily locks an account after 3-5 incorrect logins. You might need to wait 30 minutes before trying again.

I recommend contacting support via Twitter/X. Sometimes their social media team is faster and more responsive than their standard email support channels for urgent technical issues.

The cache/cookie advice is solid. Also, try clearing the cache on multiple devices (phone, laptop) just to ensure the issue isn't tied to a specific device profile.

If you are getting a generic failure notice, it usually means the system cannot validate your identity or credentials, even if they are correct. This points strongly toward a server-side issue or an account suspension that requires manual review by BetMGM staff.

I had this last week. It turned out I had an outdated operating system on my computer, and the site simply wouldn't load the security script properly. Update your OS and try again.

Has anyone found success using a different email address to initiate the password reset? Sometimes the linked email account is flagged, causing the failure notice.
